Leslie Frazier interviewing for Texans job

Oh? Did I disrespect Frazier? In what manner? -
Leslie Frazier interviewing for Texans job

That's the nature of the rule, unfortunately. Since it exists, it places doubt in people's minds. If there was no rule, nobody would doubt the legitimacy of an interview. -
Browns fans welcome their team home at the airport ..

Why take a 2 hour drive when you can take a 10 minute flight? -

It's literally a rule. Why would it not be talked about? -
Which HC Job, If Any, Does Brian Daboll Get?
MJS replied to jwhit34's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What I haven't heard talked about much is if Daboll leaves he is going to try to take some of his staff with him. So maybe Dorsey follows him and becomes HIS offensive coordinator. -
Oh, I thought he was on the practice squad.

Lack of pass rush non factor vs ravens?
MJS replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I said last year we need to just hit him as much as possible. Assume every rpo he is running it and just hit him. Give up some plays to other guys if you need to. Just hit him all day. -
Well he isn't on the 53...

He is right, but none of it was as extreme as he made it out to be. Yes, we did rely on Allen on offense. But I don't think that is a huge issue. We also have great wide receivers who can make plays when he throws them the ball. Two years ago we didn't have a receiver on the roster who could make those tough sideline catches that Davis made. We didn't have Beasley and Diggs with their expert route running to get separation. Oh, and our oline was terrible and Allen was running for his life every time he dropped back. So yeah, the offense runs through Allen and the run game isn't good, but he has the help of an oline and receivers who can execute and help him make plays. He can't do it alone. And the defense made some key plays when we needed them. And Rivers played awesome, far better than I thought possible. Have to give him and the Colts some credit. They came out and played well. And honestly, I am glad that it was close. The team needs those close games sometimes to refocus them and strengthen their resolve. Adversity and failure are great teachers.

Sure. I give them credit for not being complete idiots by agreeing with Wright. They played the game. They know it is impossible to not make a handful of mistakes in a game. Every player does. Every defender takes a bad angle sometimes. Every receiver drops a pass. Every QB throws an INT. They understand that. They said it. That's football! The dweeb Nick Wright, with is shirt collar buttoned without a tie like a complete moron, has probably never played a sport in his life and so does not understand the razor thin margin between a great play and a great blunder.

Passer Ratings from Wild Card Weekend: Josh Allen is #1
MJS replied to BigBuff423's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, Russell Wilson sucked. Not sure what happened to him this year, but he has fallen off a cliff. -
Bills defense came up clutch a few times too, but Allen has been the key in almost every single game this year.
-
I do not want him because I do not want Collinsworth. Can't stand that guy.
-
Who has underestimated them? Everyone agrees they are the best team in the NFL and the team to beat.
-
Because they are big and strong, I suppose.
-
I think fans are overreacting to just one or two plays, one that wasn't even his fault (it was Tre White's fault). I didn't think he had a terrible game.
-
That's what I thought. But I wasn't sure if playoffs is different or not. I think I would prefer blue on white.

Well, the defense has to play better than that. -

I think Pittsburgh is back within a margin where they can play things more normally. I don't hat ether punt there. But if that was the Bills with Josh Allen I'd want to see them go for it. -

I'd take them in a second.
