  1. Not exactly. He got some pressures on Allen and forced him to get rid of the ball sooner. Or move away from the pressure. But yes, Williams did a nice job for sure.
  2. He scored TD's in the last two games and likely would have scored one in this one if the defender hadn't committed the PI at the goal line.
  3. Pretty small sample size.
  4. Diggs Allen Johnson
  5. It's one of those games where no outcome would be surprising. Super high scoring. Super low scoring. A blowout for either team. Tightly contested. All outcomes are on the table.
  6. Yeah, Tua looks pretty ordinary. But he's a rookie. We'll see what happens.
  7. I want KC to win, but I'd love it if Mahomes falls out of the MVP race...
  8. Mahomes looking pretty bad. Strange.
  9. I trust McDermott with the secondary.
  10. Score more points than the other team.
  11. That's the most respectful thing I've ever seen done to a statue.
  12. Because their "metrics" OFTEN (not sometimes) don't sync with what we see in games. And not just with Allen, with other players too. They have given Sam Darnold some extremely high grades before when you watch him playing pretty badly. And their "metrics" OFTEN (not sometimes) don't align with the actual stats (the ones that can be objectively tracked, not the ones that they make up and are subjective).
  13. It just seemed like Collinsworth has not actually watched him play in a long, long time. Certainly not this year until the 49ers game. And it sounds like he didn't watch him much last year. Apparently he didn't see the Thanksgiving game because that was a good game by Allen. And he certainly didn't see the week 17 Dolphins game his rookie season where Allen accounted for 5 TD's and was over 65% completion percentage and a 114 rating. People saying that Allen is completely different this year just haven't been watching closely. He has had moments of greatness since his rookie year. He just put it all together and is more consistent this year, plus actually has help on offense now. You see our WR's actually making tough catches now, something we haven't had for awhile (we saw it some last year too). None of us expected him to be THIS good this year, but it doesn't mean he is a completely different player. A guy like Collinsworth doesn't watch the Bills unless he has to. He watches the "big" games and "big" teams and relies on the stats for everything else.
  14. Oh, I don't mind the things he says as much as I mind his super annoying voice.
  15. There seems to be some conflicting numbers out there because Brown and Tasker mentioned the metric of low completion percentage when blitzed that has been floating around and they both seemed sceptical of it too. Whatever the case, my eyes tell me he does well escaping pressure and extending plays. And I would have assumed that he has performed quite well against the blitz.
  16. I'm pretty sure they have counted a lot of his good plays as turnover worthy.
  17. And he already has a propensity to do that. He is a me-first player.
  18. QB's are also protected now more than ever before. It used to be you couldn't really have a small fast guy at QB because they'd get killed. Plus, with how the college game has evolved, it has leaked slowly into the NFL over the years and those types of QB's have come with it. BUT, I think defenses evolved too. Defenses are more complex and are so good at confusing guys and getting pressure. I think our days of one dimensional, pocket passers is behind us. QB's who don't have some mobility don't have what it takes to defeat these defenses anymore. All of the good young QB's in the NFL have the ability to hurt you with their legs too.
  19. I'm not really frustrated with the run game. How many years did we see New England dominate with basically no run game? That being said, it would be nice to have it for those inclement weather games. I think Allen handles thole bad weather worse than we would like. Not to say he can't improve. Anyone know how many draw plays we use? That might be more effective for us than just lining up in an I-Formation and running it. I know we see QB draws a fair bit.
  20. I feel like JC Jackson is better than Gilmore this year. Or maybe Gilmore isn't putting in the effort.
