Marino sure had a quick release and a nice throwing motion. I actually think Brady's throwing motion is really nice, although he doesn't have as big of an arm as the others in the video. Peyton Manning had a nice high release that got the ball over the linemen. Steve Young also had a nice throwing motion. Maybe 10 years from now it will be commonly accepted that Allen has the biggest arm ever. He certainly has the tools...

If you press play on the video there should be a button that says "watch on YouTube" or something like that. Clicking that should take you directly to the video, so you shouldn't need to do a search for it. The NFL likes to restrict their videos for some reason. They want them to be only viewed on YouTube. Not quite sure why.

When does the NFL Network Top 100 come out? Where will Josh rank?
MJS replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Look, I don't think he deserves it, I just think it will happen. It's just the Brady love fest world we live in. If he ties his shoes the proper way he'll have a mob of people ready to congratulate him. I don't think he deserves top 10. But I do think he'll land in the top 5. Brady was 14th his last year as a Patriot. That year where their offense was crap and Brady was frustrated out of his mind all year with his receivers. In what wild world was Brady a top 14 player in 2019? He was nowhere near that, but yet that's where he ranked. His lowest rank before then was 6th. I just think with him switching teams and winning the Superbowl he'll get over hyped and land in the top 5, even though he doesn't deserve it. -
It's also crazy that players do things to put their millions of dollars and fame at risk, yet sometimes they do. But, I'm sure most of them will come to, or already have come to, the same conclusion as you, that getting the vaccine will remove a lot of hassle from their profession.

Ryan Bates. That dude can play. Every time he has stepped on the field he has done well. I fully expect him to put it together for another team and become a solid starter. And I'm ok with that. Having an abundance of talent that leaks onto other teams is a sign of a good franchise.

I guarantee it was just the camera angle or whatever. Dawkins is a big man and I'm sure it is easy to find unflattering angles of him. I'd be willing to bet he is similar to previous seasons.

I agree. I don't think he cracks the top 10 this year. But, you never know... If anyone thinks that Brady won't be top 5 after winning the Super Bowl, you live in another universe. Does Brady deserve top 5? Perhaps not, but he will absolutely be top 5. -
https://www.nfl.com/news/stefon-diggs-aiming-for-five-super-bowl-rings-in-his-climb-to-the-mountain-top "I haven't reached the mountain top yet. I always aim high. I want five Super Bowl rings," Diggs told DC Magazine in a recent interview. "I want the Hall of Fame. I want the glory. I believe I'm a champion. But, more so, I want to carry some people along with me. I want my brother, Trevon, to have a good career. I want to give my mom a place where she can be comfortable. I want to give people jobs. I want to do more for D.C., my city. The mountain top isn't just for football; it's for life in general. The more people I can help -- that's when I'll look back and know I made a difference." Let's hope his wish comes true!

Josh Allen - Visor guy? Let’s go to the tape

Well, you are also more likely to have your eye poked out by a yellow penalty flag if you don't have a visor. So... -
A Lot of Bills stars Were at OTA's But 1 Star Was Not .

Camp hasn't started yet. -
Brady? No, he would say do everything exactly by the book, exactly the same every single time. Do not think for yourself, just run the play. Let me think for you. And there is no such thing as Brady not being a dick.

The 2014 WR Draft Class: How Does it Rank after 7 Years
MJS replied to folz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's a group that came out really strong but has not really kept it up in recent years. OBJ was just used really well when with the Giants. They lined him up all over the place and he got a ton of targets. He hasn't been that great in Cleveland. 2010 was a pretty dang good class, especially if Antonio Brown would have kept his head on his shoulders. But yeah, I think it is 1996. Eric Moulds was my favorite player growing up. -
Fairburn would swap Allen for Mahomes. Would you?
MJS replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As far as benefiting the team, why trade a top 5 QB for another top 5 QB even if he is better? Why not trade, say, Dawson Knox for Travis Kelce, or Mario Addison for Khalil Mack or TJ Watt? You have a chance to majorly upgrade the team. Allen is one of the strengths of the team, so take a weakness and make it a strength by focusing on another position. -
I do play videogames but I had no idea what Twitch was. It's hard for me to imagine enjoying watching other people play video games. But, I do enjoy watching other people play football, so I guess it's not too strange... Someone made a comment about how it was not likely Diggs because his Twitch name was related to the Vikings. That actually adds MORE credence to the story, in my opinion. Who would be bothered to change a screen name?

Well, Belichick did promise him...

Urban just can’t quit Tebow! (Update - Cut by Jags)
MJS replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He won the Heisman trophy, won two national championships, was a 2x First-team All-American, and was a 2x SEC Player of the Year, and... was out of the NFL after just 3 seasons (apart from a couple of off-season tryouts for a couple teams). This is after going 8-6 as a starter, having a 17:9 TD to Int ratio, and winning a playoff game. Plus he had 6 comeback wins and 6 game winning drives in just those few starts. I would say he has been afforded a normal opportunity given his wild success as a college QB. He is clearly a gifted athlete and has shown that even at the NFL level. I don't think Tebow is a good QB. He just simply isn't a good passer of the football. But to act like he has received special treatment and has been given opportunities he doesn't deserve is just absolutely ridiculous to claim. He was only in the league for 3 seasons. He played some minor league baseball. Are you kidding me? -

Historical Aggressiveness Index of Coaches
MJS replied to Reader's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would be willing to bet that conservative coaching is correlated more with success than aggressiveness...
