Yep, a lot of great throws missing. I mean, Sam Darnold was featured more than Josh Allen. I'm surprised they didn't have a bunch of Mahomes incompletions given how much the media swoons even over those.

Oh man, they need to make a video of the most arrogant arms in NFL history. Allen would be right on top of that list.

Any way you slice it it's good for the NFL and football to have Tebow. It makes the season more interesting. It will be fun to see him succeed or fail.

It's nice that he's a good person, but I just don't see how he would add value to the Bills. It sounds like a lot of Bills fans are much higher on him than I am, though. Did he have a good game against the Bills at some point? Is that why?

Yeah, lot's of Hail Mary's on the list. They are more on the receivers than the QB's. I watched the top 100 catches too. That catch by Hopkins is number one on that list too.

Allen was listed a few times early in the video at #97, 95, and 83, and that's all. Meanwhile, they have a ton of routine, normal throws from lots of other QB's in the video that should not be listed. They decided to include a lot of important throws because of their impact on individual games (which I'm fine with, to a certain extent). It's just surprising to me that Allen is not listed more, or at least listed higher. A lot of his best throws aren't even listed. Oh, and Matt Barkley had a throw listed at #87.

I was impressed even by his first press conference. He seemed competent, unlike any of the previous first press conferences I can remember from our new coaches. Gailey, Marrone, Rex Ryan... those were dark days of press conferences that you just hoped they wouldn't say anything too stupid. But yeah, after the first year and breaking the playoff drought with a team that wasn't very good and with a QB that wasn't very good.

Burkhead wouldn't see the field on offense because those other three backs are better. So he would be only a special teams contributor like Taiwan Jones.

Uh, he has never been that good of a running back and he is old. Both Singletary and Moss are better than him. And Matt Breida. Breida is way better. Go look at Breida's 2018 and 2019 stats. Burkhead is just a change of pace, roll player. He is nothing special.

Hall of famers are usually supremely gifted athletically and physically AND are super hard working. There are plenty of physical and athletic freaks who could be great but don't put in the work, as well as those players who work extremely hard but don't have the physical gifts.

I'm a younger fan too and didn't grow up watching Jim Kelly, but I've watched a lot of highlights and old games from that era. Kelly threw a really pretty ball and he had some nice deep passes, and I think something has to be said about his production in the winter wonderland that is Buffalo. That requires a stronger arm. That being said, I never came away thinking Kelly had some amazing, strong arm. I'd bet he was above average at least, but I would not have assumed that he would be among the strongest in NFL history. But, I could be wrong.

Arm strength is what allows you to get the ball in those windows, though. Obviously it isn't the most important thing for a QB, but when you have it, it helps.

Anything of 40+ air yards is fairly uncommon for the reason you listed, and also just because it's not usually prudent because those plays are low percentage completions. So yeah, you can take a shot play here or there to keep a defense honest and hope you hit one, but there's a reason offenses don't call those plays that often, regardless of who you have at QB. So statistics of plays of 40+ air yards should always be taken with a grain of salt because it's usually a very small sample size of throws. All of the QB's in the top 10 in deep throwing averaged less than 1 attempt a game of 40+ air yards. Allen actually attempted 13, which was high.

I disagree completely. It doesn't take arm strength to throw the ball 50 yards. Where Allen's arm strength really shines is on those 20 to 30 yard throws where he guns it in there.

I don't think Jalen Ramsey is top 10 worthy, personally.
