  1. The offense also contributed to that by struggling in the 3rd quarter. But both sides of the ball ironed out the kinks, luckily.
  2. Truly. And that's a dang good defense they faced.
  3. Bills looked ok.
  4. I'm just depressed because he's ok, he just isn't great. Ya know?
  5. I don't sleep during the game. Bad juju.
  6. He sat a bunch of vets and played his starters for only the first half. I'm sure he wants to use the rest of the game to get experience for players who they MIGHT need to use in the playoffs.
  7. They don't care about the game that much. They are getting guys experience.
  8. Kind of a weak call. But he did have his arm hooked on that left arm.
  9. Keep sacrificing that liver for the good of the team!
  10. Turn on the TV and watch the game. Other than that I don't have gameday traditions.
  11. Geeze. They make it look so easy.
  12. Maybe Shanahan isn't as smart as everyone thinks. Maybe he drank too much of his own kool-aid. To me it's pretty clear. They win a boat load more games with Jimmy G than they do when he is out. But maybe availability is the issue.
  13. Time will tell if he is right or wrong. Good QB's can be VERY difficult to find. Jimmy G is good. He isn't elite. He's in the Tannehill category.
  14. Career 98.9 passer rating. 67.5% completion percentage. 51 TD's to 26 INT's. 24 wins, only 8 losses as a starter. 6 games with 3 or more passing TD's. Multiple 300 yard games and a couple 400 yard games. The 49ers are a different team when he plays. I think he is a good QB. And I'm unsure of why people don't think that. Is he elite? Probably not. But I think the 49ers are foolish to let him go without someone better to replace him.
  15. He'll get a chance to start somewhere.
  16. Not sure they are allowed to do that.
  17. I think the standard should always be to play if there is something to play for. The Bills have something to play for.
  18. It just depends how long. I could see the first half.
  19. I haven't dug super into it myself. I just know I've seen multiple sources support that penalties don't equate to winning or losing.
  20. Nope. All the examples put together. https://www.mlive.com/fantasysports/2009/12/penalties_dont_correlate_to_wi.html https://saturdayblitz.com/2020/09/24/college-football-penalty-yardage-affect-wins/ https://www.footballoutsiders.com/stat-analysis/2003/are-penalties-overrated https://www.teamspeedkills.com/2010/8/27/1653619/penalties-dont-matter-much
