This is not news. News would be if they stated they were NOT going to do that. In fact, that would be huge news.

Yeah, I don't mind her that much, but there are far better announcers. I definately consider her less than average. I wouldn't say she is good.

My favorites are the all whites. Least favorite are the all blues. But I like them all and I like the diversity. I would not mind a 90's throwback with the red helmets once every couple years. I don't even mind the reds. All good stuff. As long as we never go back to the horrible early 2000's uniforms.

Bruce Smith coached the dlinemen for a few days this off-season and that's what he preached. He said the best thing you can do as a pass rusher is time the snap and beat olineman out of their stances. Seems like Epenesa and others have been taking that advice to heart.

Actually it does because he is the starter and received a contract extension, meaning nobody was brought in who is better than him. There were years we just hoped and prayed that ANY starter on the team would step up and be at least average, and when they were we got so excited. All those years with Fred Jackson being the only average starter on our team, pretty much. He's a Buffalo legend because he didn't suck.

Still one of Allen's best games and it happened his rookie year. In fact, there are a couple of games from his rookie year that were great, including the week 17 game vs Miami. Anyone who thought that last year was just out of nowhere hadn't been paying attention. Allen has flashed in every game he has ever played (some more than others).

Allen didn't really perform that well this time around, so I guess the real difference is the coaches knowing how to scheme against the..

He overthrew the ball a few times week 1. Week 2 it looked like he was trying not to do that. That's all.

Good to see some Bills do well with their arbitrary grading and fake metrics. Good for them!

I don't think that's true. They have a really good secondary. Other than that I'd say they are at least slightly worse with nearly every other position group. They are still building.

If everyone says constantly that you are underrated, and you are in the hall of fame, are you really underrated?

I'd classify it as "pretty good".

And I expect 5 threads a day on this, on both sides of the argument, until Allen has definitively proven one side or the other correct. Just how it goes here.

All of that is completely valid and accurate. But there are many fans who are taking it further and predicting that 2020 Josh Allen was a fluke, or that if Allen has one more bad game he should be labeled as "not very good", or that basically the season is over and it was a mistake that we paid Allen his big contract. I don't think most people are arguing that Allen has not played poorly or that he doesn't need to improve. At most they might be spreading the blame around and also pointing out some valid (and some invalid) reasons that the passing game has struggled. But the neverending "the sky is falling!!!!" narrative after two games is a bit much and deserves to be called out, because it isn't true. The sky isn't falling. The Bills are still a quality team. Two below average passing games does not mean the Bills can never have a good passing game ever again. We have seen these very same players have great passing games and it is logical that they can, and probably will, have good games again.

Seems like a strange thing to care about.

It does mean something these days with the decrease in running and increase in passing, as well as the more popular approach of running back by committee. There were only 8 running backs to rush for 1,000 yards or more last year. In 1977, when there were only 14 games, there were 9. So I would contend that it is nearly as impressive today as it was back then given the changes of NFL offenses.

Asking some fans to be objective and actually consider situations on the field is way too much to ask. You should know this. This place has always been reactionary. Every throw is how the rest of Allen's career will go. Honestly, even the positivity after big wins and big passing games is way too reactionary. It's the same sentiment that had Bills fans calling Allen a bust after his first season because of his low completion percentage. They simply can't help but overreact to small sample sizes. I avoid TBD after losses for the most part because it's toxic and just kind of stupid. Even after a 35-0 spanking of the Dolphins fans can't handle some temporary struggles in the passing game.

Dang, I really wanted to face him. That guy can't catch a break. If the team doctor comes at you with a large needle, hobble in the other direction, Tyrod!

So if Allen has another pedestrian passing game, it's impossible for him to have any more good passing games for the rest of the year? That's a tough rule.
