The issue is not the topic. The issue is, as we have already seen with multiple posts, people leaping to general COVID and political discussion, people fighting, people insulting players and one another, etc. If you want this to become a political forum, good for you. But I certainly don't.1q

Josh Allen: Contract extended through 2028
MJS replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hmm. I think most head coaches would prefer Allen over Jackson because of the more conventional QB play and the higher ceiling throwing the football, but that's just me. With Jackson, you can't run a conventional offense. And Allen score more rushing TD's anyway. -

NFL proposes 1x/week testing for vaxxed players to NFLPA
MJS replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It needs to happen. It's two weeks right now, right? A player could contract COVID, have mild symptoms, and completely recover within two weeks, all between tests. The Titans are like 97% vaccinated, right? And they just had an outbreak because, as they surmise, vaccinated players went out for dinner before a game. Unfortunately, it just seems like the smartest thing to do is to go back to last year's protocols for everyone, just to be safe. (I tried to keep this completely football related and I am not bashing anyone or anything related to COVID. Hope my comment is not out of line. Despite the constant warnings from mods on the board, I'm still fuzzy on what's allowed to say and what's not. That's why I usually do not comment on COVID related threads at all, recently) Things have changed. I hope the NFL tries to do the right thing instead of worrying about players being unhappy. Pandemics just aren't happy things. Nobody is happy about it. -
Fitz discusses the fanbases where he has played

He looks like Bob Ross. I'd be surprised to hear that's not what he was going for. -
SOS - Got Roped Into a Fantasy League That Drafts In 5 Hours
MJS replied to ndirish1978's topic in Off the Wall
This might be the only year that this might be an ok strategy. Of course, until the Bills have their bye week... Your team would be strong at QB, average at WR, and very weak at RB. TE would be a weak spot, but it is usually a weak position unless you have one of the top 2 or 3 guys anyway. Defense could be strong. Overall, an all Bills team would not be great, but I bet you could get some wins. -
SOS - Got Roped Into a Fantasy League That Drafts In 5 Hours
MJS replied to ndirish1978's topic in Off the Wall
Just focus on filling out your roster with good players. Every online platform will already have players ranked, so just generally follow the existing ranking system. It's ok to take multiple running backs and receivers in a row because that's the bulk of your team. A rookie mistake is taking a QB too soon. QB's score a lot of fantasy points, but there are a lot of QB's that can get you good points. Running back gets drafted early because there are a few elite guys and then a huge dropoff of production, so you want to get at least one good running back if you can. -
Sports Illustrated Predicts Every Game
MJS replied to The Avenger's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So most of the losses come against the easier teams we face. That would be strange. And they think the Patriots will sweep the division and finish 2nd in the AFC East. That's really strange. -
Totally fine with it. Excited to see Josh and the other starters.

Baldinger Breakdown of Bills D Line from game 2

It's not so often you see tackles blown off their feet like that. That was insane. -
Around the League Training Camp Thread
MJS replied to Buffalo Boy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow. I just don't see the point. Bridgewater is a below average starter and will never be anything more. Lock isn't great, but he is young and has a lot of physical tools. If you don't believe in Lock you should have drafted a QB. I bet Broncos fans are not happy. -
Bills and Steelers to get #2 CBS announcing team
MJS replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I actually liked Spero Dedes a lot, although Wilcots was not my favorite. But they knew a lot about the Bills and could speak intelligently about the team because they called so many Bills games. So that was nice. -
Madden 22 Bills vs Steelers simulation...enjoy!
MJS replied to JaCrispy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it would be more realistic to set the game difficulty to All-Pro for a simulation. On All-Madden the QB's rarely miss and they get rid of the ball accurately very quickly. That's why there weren't field goals. -

What was that Big Ben scramble late in the 3rd quarter!? I thought things were pretty realistic until that point (except the otherworldly QB play that tends to happen on All Madden). -
I just think need someone for the game this week.

Doesn't matter. After every single draft the "analysts" will still give Bill an A++.

I love the all whites, but I also like all the other combinations we have, to varying degrees. It would be boring to have the same uniform all the time. I like variety. Switch one and two for me, but otherwise I agree. To me there is a wide gap between 4 and 5. The all blues are by far my least favorite. That being said, I'm totally fine if they want to wear the all blues once in awhile. None of the combinations look bad to me, the all blues just aren't my favorite. I'd actually think the reds would look good with the throwback standing buffalo helmet.

I think it was also justified by looking to the future and knowing we will lose Hughes and Addison probably after this season. I admit that I was surprised by the pick as well, but we really needed pass rushers. I'm so glad that we finally seem to have the guns necessary to get after some of the elite QB's we'll be facing. Tampa just won a Superbowl because they were able to pressure Mahomes.

I thought they said Poyer was letting up but McKenzie ran into him super hard. Some things can't be avoided.

Kelly and Thurman had the elite aura, for sure. Bruce definately had the hof aura, a step above the other two. Allen and Diggs for sure on the current team. Let's hope Greg Rousseau has those vibes too. He definately has the traits.
-
Or, more likely, he had a minor injury and they are being extra careful to make sure he is legitimately 100% ready for the regular season.

You don't always know you have hall of famers until well into or even after their careers. This team very well could have future hall of famers on it right now.
