Yeah, I'm sure he was going to say he sucked and got benched because he sucks at football. That's exactly what a coach would tell the media.
-
Obviously he felt like he was getting booed. Not his fault for hearing that. Maybe he wasn't, but he obviously couldn't tell the difference, which is not his fault.

Dolphins are the frontrunner on trade for Deshaun Watson

I don't think they're going anywhere with him, personally. Just another guy. -
I think music tastes are one of the most polarizing things there are. It comes down to personal taste and rarely are even two individuals aligned. That's why I think they should cast a wide net. Pull in a country star, a rap star, a pop star, a rock star, all in one show. None of it is for me. I listen to classical, 90's rock and pop, 50's and 60's rock, and some early 2000's music. I don't like rap (except for some early stuff) and hip hop. I don't like 80's rock and metal. I don't really like anything from today. But I would appreciate more diversity in their music choices for halftime and If I knew there was going to be some diversity I would be more likely to tune in instead of doing other things during halftime. Plus I think it makes business sense to try to appeal to as wide an audience as possible, even if I am never the target audience (which I know I never will be).

What does this have to do with fantasy football? Weird it was moved here.

Unless you have a boat load of money and draft picks (which the Bills don't), it's going to take some time. We have a bunch of average starters, some of them maybe below average. It gets the job done often, and sometimes it doesn't. Beane has been excellent at building depth on the line, though, so when someone comes in it isn't a huge dropoff. Over time by developing draft picks and making shrewd pickups in free agency the line should get better. But it is a multi-year project, and even then you have to start replacing players that leave or get old, so the job is never going to be done on the oline. What we need is one elite guy on the line to anchor it and then fill in the pieces around him. Right now we don't have that. Dawkins is above average. Morse is maybe a little above average. But they aren't even close to being elite. The rest are below average or worse, but at least lower end starting caliber players. -
I think they get quite a bit of love. Basically every broadcast they talk about how good they are and that they are one of the best safety tandems in the league. I think fans of other teams know about them. They are some of the first players mentioned when the national media talk about the Bills defense.

What's the Bills record without Moss, if you have it handy? Moss is a good short yardage back and good in pass protection. I just think this offense is designed to move through Josh Allen and the receivers. Running backs and TE's are going to take a back seat, but it's good to have some guys who can take advantage of limited touches.

Cole Beasley has lost all his power. Gone. Done. Finished.

Vote for Josh Allen being Fed Ex air player of the week

Well, they got his stats wrong, so voters might vote elsewhere. -
They seem to be playing fairly fundamentally sound, though, which tells me their coaches are pushing the right buttons. They do lack talent, for sure, but they are not the dumpster fire I have come to expect from the Texans organization.

The Edmunds Report - Week 3, WTF's v. Bills, 09/26/21
MJS replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think what people want are the MLB's of old who stuff runs and make big hits. But the NFL isn't about that anymore. Edmunds is in there for his smarts and his coverage ability. Hitting hard and stuffing runs is the least important thing for him to be doing. The Bills defense sacrifices some run defense and toughness for better pass defense. I agree that he is not an elite guy. I think we have probably seen his ceiling (which isn't bad, since he went to a Pro Bowl for his play). He seems like a guy that might get overpaid in free agency. We'll see how he closes out his contract here. I want to see more. But he certainly is not a bad player and often makes a difference in defending the middle of the field and forcing throws elsewhere. -
Since trap games are apparently so common, can you relate to me other recent trap games that you have witnessed?

Allen has 4 passing and 1 rushing, or did you sleep through the game? If that happened Mahomes would be in there with 10 TD's. -
I'm pretty sure our schedule is really fair compared to other teams, like some of the least rest disadvantages in the league. With every team having bye weeks and also games on Thursdays and Mondays, every single team in the NFL has at least a little rest disparity. Buffalo has a great schedule.

The Edmunds Report - Week 3, WTF's v. Bills, 09/26/21
MJS replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Edmunds is generally solid in coverage, but people don't usually see that on the broadcast. It's just a bunch of fans yelling for no reason. Is Edmunds an elite player? No. Does he suck? No. He makes some plays, he misses some plays, he cleans up tackles, and he is decent in coverage. He'll have to step up his game if he wants a good 2nd contract. -
I need the Cowboys defense to stop scoring fantasy points... Stop sucking so much, Eagles!

Zach Moss needs to be the lead back

Just play the hot hand. Some weeks it will be Singletary. It's a committee backfield. It doesn't matter who you list first.
