Bills - 28 Dolphins - 16 The Bills offense comes out strong then coasts in the 2nd half. The Bills defense is dominant again, but allows a garbage time TD to make it look closer than it was.

They had a pretty tough schedule last year and were able to deal with it. I think this team is pretty well battle tested by now. They've had multiple run-ins with fellow AFC powerhouses. They came just short of the Superbowl last year.

We did pretty well vs the Ravens in the playoffs last year. There's no reason to believe we can't beat the Browns. But yeah, the Titans are a problem. Potentially. They are hot right now, but they are an inconsistent team. They lost to the Jets.

Hogwash. The AFC has been better for a few years and now maybe the NFC is better this year. It will swing back to the AFC soon enough. The AFC is packed with good, young QB's moreso than the NFC, in my opinion. When Tom Brady retires, the Bucs will disintegrate. When Aaron Rodgers leaves Green Bay (maybe even to an AFC team), Green Bay won't be relevant for awhile. The landscape is constantly changing in the NFL.

Can't expect Saleh to come in and fix the dumpster fire that is the Jets in less than a season. Give him a couple years. We all knew the Jets would be bad this year. I'm sure Saleh knew they would be bad too.

For me it isn't an argument that Allen is better than Mahomes. To me it's clear. Mahomes has had the greatest start to his career probably of all time. Dan Marino is in that conversation too. As of right now, Mahomes is the top QB in the league. What he has done is amazing. But he was also put onto a team with talent ready to win right away, with a great coach. The Bills were largely devoid of talent, especially the skill positions. So when would Mahomes have won a Superbowl with the Bills? Not last year. Mahomes got beat by the Bucs and Tom Brady. There's no reason to believe that he would have done better with the Bills in that game. 2019, maybe? But the Bills had only John Brown and Cole Beasley to throw to. Maybe he could have gotten it done, but the rest of the team wasn't ready to win a Superbowl, in my opinion. Mahomes would have gone nowhere in 2018 with the garbage talent the Bills had. Also, I just like Josh Allen and Tre White and think the fit the team and the fan base really well. So no, I wouldn't trade them and I doubt that Mahomes would have won a Superbowl with the Bills by now.

Wilson was out of the pocket and running to the sideline. I'm not sure on the rules for when you count as a runner versus a QB, but if Wilson counted as a runner there, hitting him low is not against the rules. If you are in the pocket, it is definitely against the rules.

Neither were dirty, in my opinion. The first one had a bad outcome, but he got hit right as he threw and I'm sure he counted as a runner there (if not, he probably should have gotten the flag because he was hit low). Second one is not a flag in any way. Not sure how any fan could complain about that. He hit him at the waist level and fell down with him.

Rob Johnson threw for 131 yards, had a completion percentage of 45.5%, thew zero TD's, and was sacked 6 times, for a wonderful rating of 64.8. Those who say he had a good game are either misremembering or trying to sell you something. He DID have a final drive where he led the team down for a score (bringing the total to 16 points). But that's about all he was good for. Rob Johnson was a terrible QB. Yes, we should all be able to agree that he was a loser, regardless of where everyone was on the Flute vs Johnson debate. He was great at losing games. He was 9-17 as a starter in Buffalo.

I agree 100%. I like him as a player, but I am so sick of hearing how great a pass rusher he is when he never gets sacks. I get it. Pressures are important. But "great" pass rushers get pressures AND sacks. Doesn't matter if they are double teamed. Doesn't matter if they are held. They finish. Hughes is a good complementary pass rusher, but he needs a dominant guy on the other side to take away the focus on him in order to play to his potential. That's why he did so well when Mario Williams was on the other side. Hopefully one of the new guys becomes that, but Hughes will probably be gone by the time that happens. Hole heartedly agree. I do not know if he is qualified to grade players watching the all-22. I put as much stock in his grades as my friend Joe Schmo sitting on the couch next to me. But kudos to him for doing it.

So far he has been our most consistent receiver this season. He is obviously an upgrade. Him coming in has little to do with other players getting less or more playing time. The Bills want a more balanced approach running the ball and also utilizing TE's in the passing game. That means less instances of 4 WR sets, so guys like Davis aren't on the field as much. Beasley has always had great games and games where he is less utilized just based on the game plan and how things are going. This was the same last year.

If they got a bunch of draft picks as well, that would be a home run. Tua can hold down the fort till they get a real QB.

They really, really needed a sustained drive there. They should have grinded out first downs, not thrown the ball deep unless they had it open. I agree.

Personally, I'm a little unhappy with Daboll's play calling in the red zone. Either he gets too cute or he tries running it up the middle to get stuffed. He really needs to work on his red zone packages. It's almost as if he is scared to just have Allen throw it into the end zone or call normal plays.

That would be impossible the way Brady does it. He pushes immediately forward right over his center and doesn't leave any time for tackles to be pushed into him or anything else.

I don't think half the board is blaming Allen. Most are blaming the defense.
