You cherry picked a bunch of players and you seem to think that there are 4.3 speed guys growing on trees, or something. The Bills are probably average. Yeah, the Chiefs are probably one of the fastest, if not THE fastest, teams in the NFL. Plus, some of the fastest players to run the 40 turned out to be mediocre or bad football players.

PFWA names Belichick as NFL executive of the year
MJS replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Patriots didn't completely replace their WR's or their RB's. Not sure why you are even saying that. They added pieces to those two groups for sure. They did sign two new TE's and also drafted a QB. I am not saying the Patriots are terrible. I just don't think they are rebuilding. Bill Belichick has tried to maintain what he has while adding more offensive weapons because their offense has been devoid of talent for a few years, even when Tom Brady was there. They were an average to below average team last season and got themselves to an above average team this season, and a big part of that was getting opt out players back and yes, some of their signings and draft picks. I don't think what Belichick did warrants anything close to an award, especially since a bunch of his signings underperformed. They are not rebuilding. They are trying to maintain what talent they have and add more weapons (basically what every single other team is doing). -

Significant roster turnover happens every year for almost every team. Especially bad teams. That doesn't mean they are all undergoing a full rebuild. What team didn't add receivers, TE's, and RB's? What team didn't add defensive starters? -
McKenzie is too inconsistent to rely upon in any capacity. That's why he is a gadget guy. If we want to move on from Beasley I hope McKenzie is not the only plan to replace him.

Compare that to basically any other team in the NFL and it will be similar. -
McD's Bills in postseason: 3-0 at Home, 0-4 Road.

In the playoffs if you aren't playing at home that means you are the underdog because you are facing a higher seeded team. -

That's not the definition of a rebuild. To be rebuilt your team has to be torn down. Nothing about the Patriots team was a tear down. -
That is not the case. It would not have been called back.

A modest improvement that doesn't deserve a reward. What rebuild? Do you just mean post-Brady? -

He signed a lot more than just those two TE's, with little to show for it. -

What did he do besides massively overspending on a boat load of free agents? -
I would give Daboll and big raise and try to keep him
MJS replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in The Stadium Wall
He can always come back and be offensive coordinator for the Bills if he flames out with whatever team hires him. We're going to have some coaches hired away in the coming years. Some of them won't make it work and will come back to Buffalo. That's fine. Keep the pipeline of coaching and GM talent full and keep churning out quality candidates. -
Nathaniel Hackett is getting 2nd interview with Jags🤣🤣
MJS replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
The only positive with Hackett is the possibility that Rodgers comes with him, which is admittedly a big positive for many teams. But I'm sure Rodgers likes Hackett because Rodgers wears the pants in that relationship and Hackett just lets him do whatever he wants on offense. It's hard to put a lot of stock into the potential quality of an offensive coach when they have an all-time great QB playing for them, in my opinion. You just never know how good or bad they are. -
You hire the right coach regardless of what side of the ball they coach on. Bill Belichick is one of the greatest coaches ever and came from defense. John Harbaugh is a great coach and came from special teams. And tons of coaches get hired form the offensive side and flame out. It's not about what side of the ball you come from.

He is MORE prolific at converting 3rd downs by throwing it to Kelce or a other player.

Wrong like usual. You are on a roll.

Because then you lose a guy from coverage AND from pass rushing.

Better team comp - early to mid 2000's Colts?
MJS replied to bigfootindy's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not to mention that the list of QB's to win the Superbowl on their rookie deal is much shorter than the list of QB's who did not. You have Mahomes and Wilson from the past decade or more and that's it. The rest were established QB's. Maybe you could include the Eagles because Wentz was on a rookie contract, but he didn't play at all that post-season. Foles did. -

MJS replied to bigfootindy's topic in The Stadium Wall
Great comp, honestly. The Chiefs are obviously the new Patriots. All the other good teams in the AFC will need to find ways to beat them in the playoffs if they want their own shot at a superbowl. Fans are pretty down thinking that we lost our opportunity for a Superbowl, but there are more opportunities in the future for sure. -
Do you want KC to cruise to the Super Bowl title?
MJS replied to Charles Romes's topic in The Stadium Wall
Or what? -
If Brady retires, would you want Gronk for one season here?
MJS replied to Peace Frog's topic in The Stadium Wall
Gronk isn't even Gronk anymore. -
That would be $10.4 million dollars over his first 4 years. Not too shabby. I think he has made about $12 million so far, so that's not too different.

Just a ridiculous take. You really like to make statements of finality, don't you? -

Going to the Superbowl and losing badly would be nice. I don't like the Chiefs.
