NFL Week #18 - Patriots* @ Bills - 1st half game thread
MJS replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Let's go Buffalo! -
How have you not turned on Mac Jones yet? It's CLEAR AS DAY he isn't the guy. No skin off my nose. I hope you keep Mac forever. The only thing I don't like about that scenario is all the dirty, scumbag stuff he pulls on the field over and over.
-
You are asking the fans of the 17 year playoff drought Bills if they have experience with bad coaches? Just about all of our coaches were old retreads or unqualified through those years. We had to beg coaches, any coaches, to come here.
-
It sounds like you just live under a rock. Nobody is talking about Burrow? Uh, yes they are. He is viewed as a top QB in the NFL. He gets plenty of respect from fans and media.

Mac Jones is repeatedly dirty and needs to be reined in
MJS replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
It just sounds like he knows nothing about the players he is talking about. -
He'll have a fit if he isn't made an immediate starter and treated like a hall of famer. I don't know. I'm just not a fan. He doesn't have the temperament and work ethic to be on our team, in my opinion.
-
Don't want him and never have. There's a reason he can't stick with any team. He is overrated.

He had to have meant Rosen. Or maybe he is just one of those bitter Josh Allen haters. -
Hamlin's situation was unique and rare. No need to change anything or call anything different.

19 Class of 2023 Pro Football Hall of Fame Finalists announced
MJS replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
They were both great. They'll both get in eventually, and deservedly so. Receivers seem to have to wait a long time, though. -
Serious Superstition Question/Poll: I Need Your Help
MJS replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sounds like you need to give up booze entirely, for the good of the team. Sorry. I don't make the rules. -
I don’t think anyone would care or expect both teams to have the same exact roster if the game was replayed at a later date. For one thing, it's not even possible, really. Teams make transactions all the time. Injuries happen. Both teams would need to account for that.

This is actually a decent group. A bunch deserve it. This should be a stronger class than the past few years. Revis, Thomas, Woodson, Johnson, and Wayne are all deserving. Freeney, Allen, and Ware have the stats and accolades, so they make sense to get in, but I wonder if they will do three edge rushers in the same class or not. Good group. -
Didn't necessarily know he was injured, though.

How do you feel as a parent about your child playing football?
MJS replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's up to him, honestly. If he decides he wants to play, I'll support him but make sure he understands the risks. Then, I'll pay as much money as possible on quality equipment and the best helmet in the world. -
Yeah, I have no problem with the snow angels. He didn't know. But that right there is classless.

What Bengals & Chiefs fans are saying about the situation:
MJS replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall
I can see that. But both coaches decided to suspend the game, and the officials were on board as well. So, it doesn't make a lot of sense to have the Bills forfeit. Either don't play the game at all and go by win percentage, or make up the game at a later date somehow. That's what makes sense to me. Now, if McDermott said at the time he was willing to forfeit the game if need be, and if that was the decision of the NFL he would accept that, it makes it a little different. But it seems like both coaches decided together to suspend the game and no talks of a forfeit was discussed. -
Yeah, I thought that was a strange comment. We've all seen it plenty of times. Now, CPR? That's something none of us have seen on an NFL field before, that I know of. Maybe he just meant the entire ordeal was something he hasn't seen before, not just the ambulance.

The Phins; from 8-3 to 8-8. An epic collapse
MJS replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
We called this. They had an epically easy schedule. Once it looked like it was going to get harder, many of us said they would look a lot worse and lose a bunch of games. -
Why Baltimore? We usually play Lamar Jackson really well.
-
Yeah, I agree. I am willing to throw the Dolphins and the independent observers under the bus as much as the next guy, but if Tua wasn't showing outward symptoms, and did not communicate that there was anything wrong, I'm not sure what you can do. Tua needs to be more honest and tell people when he isn't feeling right. Compare this to Mitch Morse, who actually listens to his body and communicates when he isn't right. He trusts the protocol and he gets back healthy each time. He doesn't try to play through it. Tua's teammates need to also speak up if they notice anything off about him in the huddle or on the field. They are closest to him and would be the one's to notice something wrong.

Man, Poyer has taken an absolute beating this year. Questionable again.

Bigger than the 4 superbowls the Bills went to? I don't think that's the case. I'd also put a bunch of playoff games above this one. Maybe you could make the case for the biggest regular season game.
