  1. I am vehemently against expanding the playoffs. I was against it when they expanded to 7, and I am certainly against expanding to 8. It cheapens the quality of the playoffs. It makes it too easy to make the playoffs. Now, if they add some expansion teams, then we can talk. But letting HALF the league into the playoffs? That's just too much.
  2. So there is a chance he comes back. I read all the TBD doctors posting in this thread that he was done for the year. They were so certain! It's almost as if you need both a medical license AND specific knowledge of the particular patient and the injury / surgery in order to actually speak intelligently about a player's potential return...
  3. I really liked him here as a player. I could see him rising through the ranks and becoming a hot coaching candidate in the NFL one day.
  4. Isn't our best record with the all blues?
  5. I have the flu right NOW! And I got a flu shot. Guess that throws a wrench into your theory.
  6. My family has the flu too. It is no fun. But I am brought a little joy knowing that there are others out there suffering as I am suffering.
  7. I was literally in the process of typing this all up, Logic. Glad I saw your post before I finished. Wow, they called a flag on that hit? That's messed up.
  8. Makes sense. He has had a good season. But I feel like they should wait to vote until the regular season is basically over. What if Tua continues to look like he did last week?
  9. It won't.
  10. Wow, what evidence do you have that this is one of those instances? Do you believe that anyone accused of sexual assault should be considered guilty just by the word of the supposed victim alone, without even considering the evidence? Do you think that women have never brought false charges against men?
  11. I thought the players talked about having all those things, but it didn't matter because it was so humid and the sun was baking them. The fans and benches seemed to do nothing.
  12. That WAR lost to injuries stat is interesting. I didn't know about that. They basically try to account for the quality of the player being lost to injury. I know there was a poster claiming that the Bills were just average in man games lost and we shouldn't be using injuries as an excuse (as if we needed an excuse as the Bills kept winning) because of that. This metric shows that the Bills actually have been impacted by injuries more than any other team. And they are still first in the AFC.
  13. Drunk drivers are a scourge on society. Lock them all up and throw away the key. There needs to be zero tolerance. Drunk drivers account for 10,000 deaths a year. If you are ever caught driving impaired, you should have your license permanently revoked and you should serve jail time. Lock him up and throw away the key. He does not deserve to live a normal life. He snuffed out one life and destroyed the life of another. Nothing is going to change unless we start throwing the book at these idiots.
  14. We're not. The Bills can free up something like $45 million in cap space pretty easily next year. Beane knows what he is doing.
  15. Oh, even if we do win the superbowl we should probably clean house just to be safe.
  16. And why would he want to go there? To have Matt Patricia call plays for him? To deal with the my-way-or-the-highway Bill Belicheck patriot way? Don't be so sure he wants to return.
  17. Not even Broncos fans want to watch that tire fire anymore...
  18. Big companies do often have a percentage of their budget dedicated to philanthropic efforts, which includes donating to charities and non-profits. Regardless of the motivation, the result is helping people. I am not going to complain about why or why not they choose to do it. I have worked for a non-profit for almost a decade now, and a third of our funding comes from the private sector. Nearly all of my interactions with private sector business leaders have been positive, and they have seemed sincere in wanting to position their company to help. Yes, there are some that focus on ROI, but the majority have just wanted to make sure that budgeted money goes to a worthy cause that can do the most good. Corporations are not always these evil monsters that we make them out to be.
  19. Why didn't Wyoming get their normal pocket of Bills coverage? But North Dakota got it?
  20. I read the article but I didn't see it mentioned why he was having trouble or getting bullied. Did I just miss it? I heard the Bengals sleep in their pads and uniforms to get a few extra minutes of practice in each morning.
  21. Has this thread been taken over by the McDermott haters yet? I haven't checked in awhile.
  22. We beat the Chiefs this year and last year in the regular season. Yes, we have to get over the post-season hump, but let's not pretend that the Bills can never beat the Chiefs. They have done so multiple times.
  23. Wow, that Dolphins writer got his panties in a bunch about a small, insignificant Twitter thread with like 50 fans? Anyway, I hope it does NOT snow. We have the more talented team. Extreme weather is an equalizer. I'm fine if it is super cold, but a lot of snow would make me nervous. I don't really care that much about the suffering of the other team. I just want the Bills to be able to perform to their potential. Snow inhibits that.
  24. Bills fans are quick to blame Hackett, and I'm sure he is not helping anything (bad hire), but I'm telling you... it is Russell Wilson. He is the main problem. The dude lost whatever he had. Now he is just a small, slow, has-been QB with no confidence and no leadership ability.
  25. Yep. There is some great talent at receiver in the AFC. Diggs, I think, is the most consistent and reliable of them all, though.
