  1. No incorrect. The over/under before the season started when it was 99% certain there would be no Watson was 4 games. I dont know what the over under was when Watson was still a possibility but the odds of him returning were dropping daily.
  2. Sports radio in Houston had a field day mocking the Texans with McCown's explanation of why he didnt coach last year. Paraphrasing, he said he wasn't ready to be a HC last year when he first interviewed and wanted to watch his sons play high school football. So he said NOW he " was all in " to be HC because he had that one year to watch his sons play high school football as if he is now prepared to be an NFL HC.
  3. way way before it was obvious Watson wasnt playing for the Texans. And he wasnt exactly benched but that is not worth delving into.
  4. Who is going to lose their team first, Daniel Snyder or Steven Ross?
  5. I have zero animus toward Culley, zero. Now if he were the Bills HC I would be livid with him and his jaw dropping mistakes. Unfortunately, I get to hear the woes of the Texans living in Houston, inundated with it. No obviously I dont know exactly who made the actual decisions but 1) Culley was the HC and 2) read that article i referenced, he said those were his mistakes. If Culley was distracted that was his fault. I have heard a lot of Culley press conferences and the man simply isnt that smart. I have had interaction with the Texans front office, and I can tell you the current owner has the IQ of a fencepost and the entire organization is wildly dysfunctional. They have an owner that thinks he is a minister, a minister that thinks he is the owner, a GM that thinks he is HC and a HC that just wanted to retire (Culley) and get his $ which he did. I think it was $24 million.
  6. They should have been in his headseat, Culley made some idiotic mistakes that cost the Texans some games. He was a nice guy but in way over his head. https://theathletic.com/2883499/2021/10/12/david-culley-admits-his-mistakes-but-will-the-texans-coach-learn-from-them/
  7. Not true at all, totally false and often repeated narrative. The over/under for the Texans was 4, exactly how many games they won. And Culley was not a good coach at all, he made some incredible blunders is why he was fired. They should have beat the Patriots but Culley and his dumb decisions let the Texans gave the game away.
  8. Who was it Donte Whitner that mastered that "back tackle".
  9. Maybe it isnt about money, maybe it is about principle.
  10. You are correct, it is pretty simple. Thanks for stating the obvious.
  11. Brady at Carnival
  12. I keep forgetting Miami ended up with a winning record, especially after we destroyed them twice. I was shocked when I heard Flores was fired, he inherited an absolute disaster in Miami and for him to end up with a 24-25 w/l record is really incredible. This Stephen Ross must be a real piece of work. I would love to know what the gambling number is on him losing the franchise ownership.
  13. Kneejerk legal response. I think they made a mistake with that, they are going to have to investigate these allegations, if you can spend millions investigating deflated footballs you damn sure have to investigate this.
  14. Smug response, I dont need to look it up, I know why he left, he was forced out. Racist comments. Flores took over a disaster in Miami and did an admirable job and ended on what, an 8 game winning streak and fired leaving one black NFL HC. What is your point? Ross is also accused or tampering with other team players and paying a HC to lose games, imagine the impact of that on the NFL and their now association de facto with gambling.
  15. Naive. Ask the NBA about taking away teams from bad owners, it is not just about tanking, about violating the spirit of NFL rules and tampering with players/coaches. Gugny is correct, Ross is in BIG, BIG trouble on many facets.
  16. Hardly, blowing off media blowhards in a press conference is one things, being asked specific questions for a long long time by a good lawyer under oath where you are obligated to tell the truth unless you can claim self incrimination, is a totally different game.
  17. Schoen was, as reading the case, Gm of the Giants and part of the charade interview of Flores, after all they did hire his byddy Dabol soon after.
  18. This will be tried in civil court, if it ever gets to that point, and while heresay can be admitted as "evidence". Then they get to depsoe Belichek, boy will that ever be gold to watch.
  19. Ask Jon Gruden about his 10 year old emails.
  20. Joe Schoen may not be in the clear either, wonder if he regrets going oto the Giants already. Big time lawyering and damage control to follow.
  21. Total chaos to ensue, Dolphins owner in for a fight to keep the team.
  22. From the suit, "After the end of the 2019 season, Mr. Ross began to pressure Mr. Flores to recruit a prominent quarterback in violation of League tampering rules. Mr. Flores repeatedly refused to comply with these improper directives. Undeterred, in the winter of 2020, Mr. Ross invited Mr. Flores onto a yacht for lunch. Shortly after he arrived, Mr. Ross told Mr. Flores that the prominent quarterback was “conveniently” arriving at the marina." Wonder how the QB was, Brady? 1) This points out the Rooney Rule is a total farce. 2) Ross has to consider putting the Dolphins up for sale if any of this is true.
  23. Wow this offseason already getting great, cant wait for more to come out. If Flores is wrong, his is done in the NFL.
  24. In Mac Jones case it is one game and they didn't do squat until late in the game garbage time and Fergy was incorrect, it wasn't "all time" it was just this years data
  25. When do the Manning rumors start.
