A Few Thoughts about the Bengals Game - Community Edition
RoyBatty is alive replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
#5. Last time we saw a QB pick us apart on short passes, pretty much the entire history of the Tom Brady Era. The de was ridiculous in the first quarter, they were so deep. On his two ints, i think both were reasonable attempts, Benford just had perfect height and timing, on the next, that is like 50% of NFL passes, sometimes the D Line gets their paws up and Phillips got his hand on one and we got lucky. I attribute both picks to better D than terrible Burrow decisions. Regarding TEs, no love for Hawes. He made two critical receptions including that 4th d TD conversion where he non-nonchalantly held up his hands like saying gee whiz that was easy. And no pass rush, I will chalk that up to the slippery field. Bonus on the time out. I can only imagine McD was flusterd as whether or not kick the extra point or go for two. -
Go to the 10 minutes left ibn the 4th qtr, he hirs his head pretty hard and looks a bit disoriented holding his head. He should have been yanked there immediatly imo non-medical pinion. It wasnt as absurd as the Tua fiasco a few years ago but to be it was painfully obvious.

What game did Cook's fumble cost us a game? Miami, we were blown out , 1 fumble hardly cratered that game.

Interesting, so in theory this could all be a potential money grab or do I not comprehend all the nuances? -

Your wrote "pro stadium builds"..."worst he has ever seen". Read to me you were addressing the physical stadium. Now you are talking about financing, maybe that is true if you are talking about financing which I as a NYS non-tax payer could care less about. -
Game week thread - Bengals at Bills (flexed to 1pm ET)

The "fumble" by Allen on that fancy handoff was emblematic of hubris on the part of the bills. No need to go that deep in the playbook that early especially when the bills had a then very effective pass game going. -
It is all relative. I really dont care what chiefs fans think about Xaiver, i would be dumbfounded if they were as displeased as Bills fans are with Coleman. Keon is a borderline bust, especial;y considering where he was drafted. You might not consider it a is not a slam dunk but I certainly do. A starter that was benched for 2 games?

Seat Prices for Old Highmark Tear Down
RoyBatty is alive replied to Riverboat Ritchie's topic in The Stadium Wall
Because people would visit it, like a football shrine. What I dont want to happen is the houston situation, the old Astrodome "7th wonder of the world" next door to Reliant Stadium, they haven't opened it up for years and cost the county $5 million/yr as it decays. I would pay to walk around the old stadium just for the memories. I assume it will be torn down and used for parking, heard that before in Heston. -

I dont take some "guy on YT who's an expert on pro stadium builds" worth a damn. Say what you want but the Bills and NYS took a lot of care and professional trying to maximize the most cost effective/fan viewing/access venue. -

It may be ridiculous to you but there will be plenty of people to ***** them at . Pure simple/demand economics. What is the plan for the old stadium, will we be able to visit if at all after the last game? -

Agree now EVERY game is a huge game for us and it is all because we underestimated the Pats in game 1 (handing them turnovers) and the abortion games known as the Dolphin and Falcon game. -

Exclude the two big plays of the game and almost every NFL game you can turn a victory into a defeat. We beat them on BOTH sides of the ball, our O Line, especially up the middle was outstanding and put a total damper on the Steelers and the highest paid defense in the NFL/ -

I can 't disagree with this at all. It felt more like the Steelers lost the game more than the Bills won it. Similar to the Bills-Patriots game this year, we lost it with turnovers more than being beat. -

Great write up as always, even sans the music lyrics. I have to totally disagree about #5 and Brady. Why would it frustrate you to see that same play working so successfully. It is more an indictment against the mighty Mike Tomlin and his DC (no wonder they were chanting Fire Mike Tomlin, to steeler fans that had to be PAINFUL to watch).. If you have a play the opponent cant stop, you do exactly what the Bills did, keep pounding it. It was demoralizing to the Steelers and a hug bonus for our O Line (esp with both tackles out) to run the ball. #9 and Josh. I have been thinking the same thing all year. He has seemingly been really hyper engaged or floundering and seemingly disengaged. And I hope this thread doesn't dissolve into armchair marriage counselors second guessing his wife. -

And the PAtriot loss was turnover driven (mostly Josh) and the Texans was inept play and turnovers again, mostly by Josh. -
11/20/25 GAMEDAY Bills at Texans TNF Gameday Thread
RoyBatty is alive replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Noe of those games except for maybe last years bear refelct any relevance except for maybe last years 59 yard game winning field goal by Kai mi Fairbairn, he has issed the last two games and Texans have a journeyman scrub kicker now, hope I am wrong as Bills stretch out a huge lead but a key to this game could be if Fairbairn is playing tonight. -

I am an avid Bills fan and live in houston and gone to all the games, not sure what you are referring to except the ONE bizarre kickoff ruling in the playoffs. -

High possibility of an epically low scoring game. If it isn't, i think the Bills blow them out provided the Texans get zero or just a few points on turnovers. -

I have voice by opinion already with substantial factual evidence, we will will simple disagree on this. I certainly hope Milli has a terrible game.
