  1. Add Jim Dunaway, Travis Henry, Justin Bannan, and OJ
  2. can you PM me t least the politicians name, I have no idea who is referring to and no i sure dont want this one forum to go political.  And your mets play my astros next few days.

  3. 1) We are talking about Civil court, whole new level of "proof". 2) Texans head of security supplied him with the NDA agreements. 3) Jack Easterby, a very unsympathetic character and people directly underneath him set up the Houstonian situation for Deshaun and provided massage tables to it. 4) Ownership at the Texans is decidedly brain dead, has very deep pockets and once again would be a very unsympathetic witness. No, they have enough in civil court to go after the Texans.
  4. He was great watching him pay, especially quarterback when it was so controversial. The Bills were terrible but I grew up the year he and Eddie Ruthkowski were thrown in as emergency QBs in the old AFL, fantastic memories, Bills dont get enough credit for that or for James Harris.
  5. His lost season is 100% on him and he get paid to do nothing.
  6. Ashley Solis has the best case (from what I can tell) was the first to file a lawsuit, has done TV interviews, is very compelling and sounds pissed. She isn't going away quietly sand good for her.
  7. Clickbait and it clearly worked here.
  8. No he/she is correct. You are taxed at the "value" you are paid. Be taxed like regular short term income, same as if you didnt immediately convert it. The taxable event was when the employer paid you the $24 million in crypto. Then your cost basis is $24 million in perpetuity. if you sell if in a year for a loss you can declare a short term cap gain loss and vice versa pay taxes if it went up.
  9. That is true but It is all relative, I would much rather lose 50% on Bitcoin in the past year than 99% in a few days like some others.
  10. Not all Crypto Currencies are created equal. Depends which ones you own.
  11. I dont know about Taylor Lewan issues, someone might enlighten me. But the Eric Wood insight was tremendous, great listen. Great Aaron Kromer comments.
  12. Only 13, that might happen, I think it would be an NFL mistake but that could easily happen.
  13. The Ray Rice debacle is inclusive of Ray Rice only getting 2 games, after the negative fallout from that suspension new penalties are going to be harsh.
  14. I hope he stays retired. if for nothing else but his health.
  15. There was no "time served", that was Watson playing hardball with the Texans and he got paid a big check to do nada. I think Watson gets a full season, at least. NFL reputation for letting players get lite suspensions is over starting with the Ray Rice debacle.
  16. Yep Solis is pissed and itsnt going away, she is not going to be intimidated at all. They would have not be tried together and if I were in the Watson legal camp, I would do everything I can to keep any court submissions from the other trials away from each specific case.
  17. Makes total sense, classic black market. Why payy taxes, if you get caught, is a judge going to throw you in jail or a heft parole. Unlikely esp in California. I am not going to micro manage this discussion, if you want to discuss the difference of moving from Thailand and the Phillipines and China or if Watson is innocent......do so without me.
  18. this is why you dont waste your time watching simulations.
  19. To answer your earlier specific questions 1) Trafficked, I dont know but likely not or the DA is likely incompetent. 2) Found their way past CCP, what the Chinese Communist Party? How the hell would I know or care. different cultures have totally different attitudes towards sex/paying for sex. Many people from impoverished countries come to the US to seek a life of prostitution. IS it sad from a judeo-Christian western stance, yes but it is a fact. As I said travel to the Philippines or Thailand and it might change your opinion. As for Watson versus Kraft, well now Watson is in Civil court, totally different animal. Very telling to me none of these women in the Kraft situation threatened to sue a Billionaire Kraft over what happened. And there are plenty of lawyers in Florida. That alone should explain the difference.
  20. No it is not that the game is unrecognizable, the athletes are. He can be the standard for his Era.
  21. How many times are we going to repeat the same thing over and over again. Oh yeah absolutely, I can totally see that. I have seen young kids do anything FOR DRUGS/$. I would have no idea but I believe it also comes down to specific DAs.
  22. Comparing any athlete from nearly 100 years ago to more modern athletes is, frankly a worthless meaningless activity. Any pro athlete , in almost any sport from the 1920s would get destroyed by current athletes and it wouldn't even be close. Randy Johnson would have destroyed Ruth, I bet Sandy Koufax in his prime would have as well.
  23. Do you have a reading comprehension problem or you just want to prolong this kicking a deadhorse issue. Did I ever say or intimate human trafficking doesn't exist? Read what I wrote, "they are NOT all slaves, all forced into the life. Certainly some are and that is tragic but to assume they all are is ignorant." GOT IT SHIRLEY? Mannc post is spot on. In the Kraft case the DA was pushing this sex trafficking angle to gin up public outrage but the sex trafficiking angle fell apart, long before Kraft got out with a technicality.
  24. I am not offended, i dont care what you think., it is obvious you have your mind made up. I have talked with women that formerly did work at massage parlors but you stick by what the govt tells you.
  25. You dont know which women are sex trafficked and which aren't. Simple fact. Many women at massage parlors aren't sex trafficked. I have volunteered and donated to Elijah Rising in Houston which deals with this issue. I know what am I talking about
