  1. I always thought it was "payback" for Al Davis who was not a well liked owner by the NFL at that point.
  2. Ehh, I cant blame him for that. I am sure he has a lot of things on his phone he doesnt want leaked or misconstrued and there is one thing the NFL has demonstrated repeatedly, you are at risk trying to keep your privacy with the NFL. Prime example leaked Wonderlic scores. If I was as high profile as Brady I would have "lost" my phone. Imagine what kind of money entities like TMZ would be willing to pay for access to Brady's phone.
  3. I think a bigger "burden" is on the center for field goals. It is down to a science as to how fast, high, how many rotations to the holder and where the laces are exactly when they hit the holder. One of the reasons why teams keep a long snapper and why long snappers can stay for so long, A great long snapper can make the job of a holder so much easier and the continuity between snapper and holder is paramount.
  4. I was thinking this exactly as I was typing.
  5. Josh of course but that goes without mentioning. 100% Von Miller. If we get what we saw last few years, watch out....... if his age catches up with him, we wasted a lot of $.
  6. I wasn't much of a fan of his hire. I think he got LUCKY landing at LSU and Burrow in a magic season and he was anointed an offensive guru, and I think prematurely. then of course the obligatory trip to Carolina (before getting fired) before heading to the Bills. And we also have the William & Mary connection with McDermott.
  7. I was omitted, meant "I'd" not "d". I didn't see the odds anywhere, my REALISTIC opinion. Also I think the Bills are smart enough not to rush him back. Would rather have Tre back 100% for half the season and the playoffs than some risky, less then 100% Tre.
  8. d put the odds of Tre will be 100% on opening day at 5%, He might even start but to be Tre ready is wishful thinking.
  9. I think a lot of these votes have a lot of "recency bias". One guy I had to look up was Tuttle so I voted for him. Tuttle was a Bill back in 1982, another first round bust few can even remember.
  10. He is the lightest TE along with Sweeney on the Bills and I dont know what the "average" NFL height and weight.
  11. You could have just written that to begin with. According to BTB you just push a button and it comes back up within 45 seconds but your scenario makes a lot more sense.
  12. Compared to me, yes but Not by NFL standards.
  13. According to the Bills Roster OJ Howard isnt much bigger than Josh Allen, one inch taller and 14 more pounds.
  14. Well then why not educate me instead of a smart arse response, no offense.
  15. Yeah you can't just activate those slides, have to properly deflate them, fold them back if possible, and putting them back has to be done precisely. Dont know the rules and regs on those. That was probably a several hour delay, most likely had to change planes, not only that they had to track down the crazy lady on active runways. With so many cellphone cameras shocked there isn't some video of it already.
  16. LOL, Von Millar, quite the personality. Thinking of an angle to raise chickens and market them for wings, he has the right name recognition and right personality.
  17. If one believes in TMZ. Buffalo Bills offensive lineman Spencer Brown had a wild experience at the airport Tuesday ... saying a pissed-off passenger unhatched his plane's emergency inflatable slide and escaped on it before take-off! The 24-year-old football player described the chaos in a series of tweets ... explaining a woman was so angry about something on the plane at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport, she deployed an emergency slide to get off. "Sitting on a plane," Brown said, describing the scene. "A lady is pissed. Lady pulls the emergency inflatable slide to escape the plane. Lady is running wild through the tarmac currently." I wouldn't want to mess around on an airplane with Spencer Brown, man is huge (and best draft pick from last year so far).
  18. Charlie had a great voice, he old NFL day were glorious and I miss old Al Derogatis and Curt Gowdy classic
  19. I will go with 7 as well. There are some compelling games: Green Bay, Cleveland (if Watson plays), Cinci, KC, LA Rams and then the second tier Tennessee one New England (Belichek), Baltimore
  20. good point, i see no mention of the Bills. I guess had to be included keep it relevant
  21. Penny wise and pound foolish crook..probably been getting away with similar garbage like this his entire career, he finally to the big boys where the $ is big and the owners have plenty of staff to watch the till.
  22. I like the ranking but one I wildly disagree with, Watson is not even close to the same category as Mitch and as for the rest in that tier. too young to make a determination. Watson belongs in Tier 1 or at worst 2 imo.
  23. No that is not true and it is a terrible way to express it. Yes now that more contracts have been signed it looks better and better but NO the Bills did not "screw" Josh Allen, they gave him at the time one of the best deals. As a Bills fan, I would NOT want to think that we "screwed" him. Would you want your franchise QB to get the idea his team "screwed" him?
  24. Classy, very classy. I find it obnoxious and pitiful when people have this apparent need to escalate the dialogue by stating "just shut the ***** up". Wonderful well thought out response. More of reflection on themselve, my mistake for responding.
  25. Thanks for your suggestion but let me think, no, I will not "shut the ***** up". Was it a joke, really, yeah hilarious, a real gut buster for sure. I mean it was so obviously a joke with the way people get offended now. Also, read what I wrote, two conditional "ifs".
