Is McDermott the new McDaniels?
Peace Frog replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Great Caesar's ghost, can we let the current regime finish their first season and let the current GM have his first draft before we crucify them? Man, lack of playoffs make y'all bug-hump crazy! -
How do we pull the impossible and beat the Pats?
Peace Frog replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
On their very first possession, hold all of their receivers at the line (literally, tackle them), and send 6 after Brady. Have as many as possible dog pile him even after he throws it or hands it off. Take the 15 yard penalty for roughing the passer. Repeat this process until Brady is out of the game. After that, figure out how to score against their defense. -

I don't care who you are...that's funny, right there! -
Completely agree with the above post. Even if Taylor had started against the Chargers, we still would've lost.

This.

I take it back. Today's game was the worst one I've seen from the Bills. OMFG! Any talk of us possibly still making the playoffs had we somehow won today needs to be plunged down the toilet. Even if we had somehow won, you really expect us to win at KC or either one of the NE games? We'd be lucky to beat the Colts in 3 weeks. This team stinks so bad I can hear it.

THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - Ramblings of a Madman
Peace Frog replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh, hell no! I'm not even going there. I think what happened to this team is the original plan was for them to tank but after some wins by the Bills and the crappy play of a lot of other teams in the AFC, it made sense to make a run for the playoffs. Of all of the players that were traded/cut/not resigned the only one I had a problem with is Mike Gillislee. I thought he and McCoy were a nice 1-2 punch and would've been happy if the Bills found a way of keeping him. Anyways, the right side of the O-line has been bad for a while so no surprises there. The D-line has been the biggest disappointment, IMO, and the main reason for the avalanche of points and yards allowed. To those saying it's been like this since Dareus was traded I say "Balderdash!". It isn't like Marcell was in on every play or playing every game. When I think of Dareus being difference maker on the line, it was pre-fat contract. Besides QB, I'd say this team needs help on both lines. Cordy is always hurt, Kyle will probably retire, Shaq is a bust, etc. This team needs our future QB and some beef on both lines. Until that happens, expect more of the same. -

Here's a question for you that might cheer us all up... What's it like to have a real QB on your team?

I was employed as a DJ at Club Diamond Dust on SW corner of Genesee & Transit (now called Buffalo Scores) and decided to go to the game after it was blacked out. I went with my dad, one of the dancers from the club named Cheri (who was friends with Jeff Wright; he went to the club quite often), and her 12 yr old nephew. We almost left the game after the 3rd quarter pick-6 by Houston but decided to stay because by the time Cheri came back from her trip to the bathroom at halftime, we had just scored our second TD. What a f-ing game! Plus, we were sitting near the corner on the scoreboard end, visitor's side, where most of the action was happening.

Bills D has quit on the fans

I don't care anymore. I'll watch them on draft day. -
Could Dareus be why the players quit?
Peace Frog replied to RobH063's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You're talking about one player that was in on what, 30 plays a game? My wife actually watched today's game with me for a change and at halftime she asked me, "Why do their players look bigger than ours, on offense and defense?" From the mouth of babes... -
That was the worst game I've seen from you in many years. Good thing we were at home and had 10 days to prepare or it could've been worse. McDermott just had his post game press conference and he said "We need to hit the reset button." You think? Maybe hit the bottle, while you're at it. So things definitely need to change. For starters, start Peterman. Second, start playing a 4-3 defense because whatever they're putting out there now is not working. Lastly, go with a pass happy offense. The running game is not working and our receivers may actually be better than our RBs. You know, Shady and (gasp) Tolbert.

This, please! I'm done with Tyrod, completely. If it wasn't for his scrambling, he would really suck. We aren't going to the playoffs this year if he keeps starting.

What is your favorite Buffalo Bills memory?
Peace Frog replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was at The Comeback game in Jan. 1993 with my dad and a stripper (I used to DJ at Club Diamond Dust and she was a Jeff Wright fan) and should pick this one as my favorite, but I'm going to pick the Miami game, week 16 in 1990 (https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/199012230buf.htm). Frank Reich was the starter, we won the AFC East after that game, and the crowd rushed the field and started tearing down the goal posts on the tunnel end, which is where I was seated. I'll never forget seeing one of the uprights make its way to the top of the visitor's side upper deck by the time I made it out to the parking lot. Pure insanity! -
This game made my eyes, stomach, and scrotum hurt. It was that bad. We haven't looked this bad on prime time since our last game on prime time.

Kelvin Benjamin is inactive for tonight's game
Peace Frog replied to Peace Frog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm guessing they want to give his knee some rest. We'll need him to be as healthy as possible for our playoff run. -
4 receptions on 4 targets for 104 yards with a long of 43. I'd take that two more times this year.
