You're not getting what I'm saying. Whatever Dareus is doing well in Jax he was not doing here. He didn't WANT to be here anymore and it showed in his play or lack of. We can speculate all we want on how Tyrod would've performed against LA but there is no denying how he DID perform the previous two weeks against NY & NO, hence his benching.

Oh, please. Dareus was bad for morale and we were losing to the Chargers no matter who was QB that day. Our o-line had no answer for Bosa and our defense was porous.

That is exactly how I see it going down. The Ravens, Titans, and Chargers all lose and we blow a 17 point lead against Miami going into the 4th quarter. That would be so typical.

Of the current starting QBs in the NFL right now, which ones would you NOT start ahead of Tyrod? I bet your list is pretty short.

Priority in this order: 1. QB 2. D-line 3. O-line

Troup or Gronk? I personally think that it didn't matter who started at QB. Rivers was carving our defense up and our O-line had no answer for Bosa. So, it doesn't matter.

No cheap shots, but I hope to see plenty of gang tackling on Gronk. First man, wrap him up, next five, tackle him hard.

I think the more likely scenario is just the opposite of all that. The Bills lose their last 3 and the Pats win theirs.

I disagree on the 4th & 1 call in OT. Some may agree with punting and trusting the defense at that point but even if the D stops them (which they did), our offense still has to do something when they get the ball back. If you go for it on 4th & 1 and don't get it, the only difference is if we stop them after they gain possession, we get pinned back deeper after they punt. If we go for it and get it, we have great field position. My point is, by going for it, you need the O to do good for that one play. If you punt, then you need the punt coverage to do good for one play, your D to do good for at least 3 plays, your ST to do good for another play, and your offense to again do something with the ball. If I have to choose between all of that and going for it on 4th, I'll take the QB sneak with Joe 'The Spider' Webb everytime.

Calls like that are one of the reasons we are in a drought. On 4th & 1 from their 41 with that little time left to play in sudden death OT and hopes of the playoffs hanging in the balance against a team that is not going to the postseason and you decide to punt after letting however many seconds run off the clock? That is straight up, poo-eating stupid. You call a timeout right after the 3rd down play is over, call your offense to the sidelines, and tell them "This is the play we want to run to pick up the first down. If you don't make it, our season is over and I'll junk punt every single one of you in the locker room. Now, go get that first down!" That's how you do it, not play like a turtle.

Exactly! My wife tells me the same thing on occasion when I screw up. When you apologize, you should 1) Say you're sorry for what you did 2) Acknowledge that it was wrong 3) Offer to make it up somehow. As soon as you add 'but', it is an attempt to make excuses that try to justify your actions for the offense. Basically, the 'but' is trying to link up the apology with this whole spiel about how "It wasn't my fault...", which of course, is bullcrap.

Tyrod has all kinds of room for improvement to make him an even better QB!
