I still want to see Tasker get in. I understand why some people don't want special teams guys int the HOF. But he was so good, he had a knack for explosive plays that changed the outcomes of games. Never before had the league seen someone like him on special teams, and I don't believe we've seen once since. The dude was the MVP of the pro bowl as a special teamer. I know the pro bowl is just an exhibition deal but..... c'mon. That's a game filled with the best of the best.... and a special teamer was the MVP

You're right, it is up to the coaches to put the players in a position to succeed. But at the end of the day, the players are the ones executing (or not executing) the plays. The PLAYERS are the ones that are jumping offside, false starting, etc. While I believe there's plenty of blame to place on both parties, players and coaches, at the end of the day, the players are the ones on the field.
