I am too. I feel like McDermott is the kind of guy who will start the guy who deserves to start, regardless of where he was drafted, etc. He's a no nonsense guy that doesn't seem to buy into the politics of it all. If Allen wins the job outright? Then so be it.

Couldn't agree more. This has the potential to be a REALLY good Defense... Especially under McDermott. Remember when our last head coach took the best defense in the league and destroyed it? It feels good to have competent coaching again.

It's pretty simple. You start the best player, regardless of where he was drafted. If he straight-up wins the job, then start him. If he needs more time, and he's NOT the best option, start the guy who is (hopefully McCarron)

I wanted Rosen too... But then I saw his interview after the draft and was like.... WOW. I'm almost glad we didn't take him.

For every one of these, there's another draft "review" out there giving the Bills high marks for their draft. These draft "reviews" are as useless as mock drafts. These kids haven't stepped on the field for even a rookie minicamp yet.

Couldn't agree more. Other than not getting Rosen, this turned out pretty good. Rosen, Mayfield, and Jackson out of the division... Sanchez 2.0 went to the jets. This could have been so much worse.

Schopp posted some nonsense on Twitter about how it's "incomprehensible" that the bills traded up and took Allen over...... Lamar Jackson. Wasn't complaining that we passed on ROSEN, but Lamar Jackson. Seriously? As if he knows better than the other 31 team's multi- million dollar scouting departments. He then posted some crap later about the Bills' "track record" in these situations. I had to remind him that that is 150% irrelevant considering Beane has been here exactly one year, and the Bills canned their entire scouting department after last year's draft. Like what does anything before Beane took over have anything to do with now? I mean I know he's gotta have a "hot take" for ratings, clicks, etc., But...... Jackass
