  1. I vote trade up... But I think a better poll is this. How far do you trade up?
  2. Because... JP Losman 2.0?
  3. Good. If Rosen is going to be there at 5, I'm all for it... and have to give up much less. No way the Giants would be willing to drop all the way to 12 anyway. I truly believe we'd have to trade up to 5, and THEN up to 2 for the Giants to give it up. It's not only the fact that they'd be getting a couple 1's.... but all of the talent they'd have to be willing to let pass them by to drop to 12.
  4. No way. It's the Browns, but they're not THAT incompetent.
  5. we can only hope and pray.
  6. It's quite simple. They have a HUGE national fan following. Probably as big as any fan base out there. it's simple economics, really.... Many of these teams' fan bases are regional. Cleveland? Cincinnati? New Orleans? Carolina? Atlanta? Tampa Bay? Jacksonville? The list could go on... but many of these teams only have a good following regionally, but NOT nationally. How many Jaguars fans do you know, vs. how many Cowboys fans do you know in your area? It's all about ratings and how many people you can get to turn it on and watch. EDIT: I'm not defending the Cowboys. I effing DESPISE them almost as much as the Pats*. Just pointing out why they get the primetime games.
  7. I'm more in favor of the old XFL method of determining possession. Just let two guys run at full speed at each other and duke it out!
  8. He's coming back. No doubt about it.
  9. I would be totally OK with this, except for Baker going to NYJ. I want either him or Rosen, but really don't want the one that we don't take to go to them.
  10. Fred epitomized what it was to be a Bill. Hard worker, earned every bit of what he had. Went from "who the heck is Fred Jackson?" to, for a year or two, one of the top backs in the NFL. Excited for him to retire a Bill. Still have my FredEx jersey!
  11. Thanks for posting. Great read. It'll be interesting if true!
  12. I don't put a lot of stock in what ESPN says. They're grading based on sacks. Anybody that knows anything knows that that isn't his specialty. If our run D improves, then I say he's worth it.
  13. The struggle is real!!!!!
  14. OK, so if there is no kickoff at all, what will happen when an onside kick is needed? If they removed this rule, every drive would start from the 5 yard line.
  15. If you don't find the second one funny, where he gets smoked in the head by a football, I can't help you I literally laughed out loud at my desk. People looked at me weird...
  16. I agree here. If the Jets take Baker at 3, I have no problem trading up to 4 for Rosen
  17. I do too. I just think he's the lowest on Beane's board for "process" reasons, if you catch my drift.
  18. I haven't watched a Sabres game in years. And it kills me because I was a fanatic about the Sabres when I was a kid. It's just hard to watch anymore.
  19. Are you asking if I would prefer we had lost more? I'm a Bills fan. Absolutely not.
  20. I thought the Chefs were from Kansas City?
  21. Should be the way it's always been. did he make a football move? did he take 2 steps and then the ball came out? if so, then it's a catch and a fumble. This was never an issue for as long as the NFL was around until they started messing with it in the last 5 or so years.
  22. If it's for Rosen, I'm fine with it. Make it happen, Beane!
  23. That's kind of where I was going with this thread. What if Beane and Gettleman already have a deal agreed to, but are just waiting to submit the paperwork/announce it until a bunch of teams start pulling stuff like this?
  24. Or Gettleman has already agreed to give it to Beane.
  25. Not necessarily to derail the Jets, but any team that wanted to jump up there to grab our guy. If we can still get our guy and make them give up a bunch for nothing.
