  1. Both injuries happened on the same yard line in the same stadium, both games had the same final score, and both had their legs broken by the only two 3-time NFL defensive players of the year. Cue twilight zone music.
  2. I didn't say anything about them being able to afford more. By the way, I think you answered your own question....
  3. No, I'm going down the common sense route. If I only need 90, why would I bring 100?
  4. This is kind of where I was going with it. If you have 90 active players that need them, why would you buy 100 when you have plenty other apparel options for the guys that aren't active?
  5. Well if there are only a certain number of the jackets, then it makes sense. I'm sure there's lots of other gear the inactive players can wear, but those are the jackets that go over the shoulder pads... that's the only thing a player that's actually playing can wear to keep warm.
  6. He is definitely having a career year. I hope we keep him around.
  7. I stopped reading when i got to this line... "deep threats with injury issues (John Brown, Kelvin Benjamin, Donte Moncrief)" In what universe is Kelvin Benjamin considered a "deep threat"?
  8. Good god, here we go again. You're going to redo your entire QB depth chart over one game? A game against the Jets? And say that the coach should be FIRED if he doesn't do what you want him to do? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Sometimes I think certain posters start stupid threads because it makes them feel all warm and fuzzy inside to start a thread that gets a lot of replies.
  9. Have you watched any games this year, or just read the box score?
  10. But but but but McBeane should be fired immediately!
  11. Oh don't worry. I don't think that's going to be a problem. What is this rational opinion/behavior? Can you share with the whole class?
  12. Funny how we'll pay $30.00 more for a hotel that offers "free" breakfast instead of one that doesnt.
  13. Good luck. I type these same words ten times a week, and I only get "well we weren't supposed to be THIS bad!" As if bad vs. really bad actually makes a difference in the final W-L record. It's almost like people want us to just suck less and end up with a couple more meaningless wins, and end up with the #12 pick when we could have had #4. We all knew this year was going to suck. Which is why I haven't broken ANYTHING this year watching a Bills game! ?
  14. I'll tell ya one thing... Milano is a hell of a young player.
  15. Thank you, SDS. I don't understand why this is such a difficult concept. I explain it to someone literally every day and just get told "Trust the process until McDermott and Beane are fired." I literally just had this discussion yesterday. What would you prefer? One year of suckitude followed by a decade of success? Or keeping all of those guys that we weren't winning with anyway and continuing to be mediocre every year?
  16. I don't really think he's "picking" Peterman in this case. Everybody else is hurt. I'm not going to excuse him for picking him last year over Tyrod, or week 1 over Josh and AJ. But in this case, who else was he supposed to pick?
  17. If he decided to be a Pats* fan, yes. If not, no... It's just a game. Gotta have some standards though.
  18. Someone needs to be fired over Mullens RIGHT NOW!!!!
  19. In my state, I can be terminated for any reason at any time, as long as it is not discriminatory. So yes. If I do something stupid that costs my employer money, they can fire me at any time. No, you can't fire an employee for being pregnant, because that's discrimination. Try another example, because that's not even a comparison to what we're talking about.
  20. It's a simple concept, really. I can't believe how many people can't understand this. If I owned a business, and an employee is costing me money/business, sorry bud, you're gone.
  21. I live in Charlotte. I can't believe how many people said to me yesterday morning, "Holy crap Bills fans are crazy. I can't believe how loud that place sounded on TV!" Made me proud ??
  22. so you were about to assault someone over a football game, and you're asking about "fan conduct" of those who weren't? I think you have your answer here......
  23. If one crappy year led to a decade of success, yes they would. Nobody would have been OK with continued mediocrity, 7-9 or 9-7 every year.
  24. He has definitely improved the last several weeks. He looked good last night.
  25. Yes. Exactly. The people they traded away are part of the process. What don't people get about that? That literally IS the process. Get rid of huge contracts to underperforming players, and start fresh instead of continuing to overpay for mediocre talent and just constantly staying in mediocrity 6-10 through 8-8. Blow it up, sacrifice a year to get rid of the contracts, and start fresh with 90 million dollars to spend next year, and some high draft picks. This is literally the definition of a rebuilding football team.
