  1. God how I hate Fish Especially the Dolphins Let's go Buffalo
  2. I do too. I think he's been so limited in what he can call because our players (Peterman, Anderson) weren't capable of executing anything. Now with steady QB play, he's been able to really open it up. I've seen some great stuff the last couple weeks. I love how they ran that fake jet sweep to McKenzie a couple times, but it was just that, a fake. It got the D to bite on it when we needed to actually run it.
  3. I still can't believe the Jags didn't put a spy on him. I fully expect Miami to do so. Even so, it better be someone who's fast because Josh was outrunning Jacksonville's LB's with ease.
  4. The guy showed two throws that were not out in front of the receiver, that would have been completions for a decent gain had the ball placement been spot on. That being said, it was 2 throws. I'd be willing to bet that if we broke down the game film of every QB in the league, EVERY starting QB in the NFL has a couple of these a game (except for Rivers last week.... DAMN). But when you were on the "Allen's accuracy sucks" train, then you're going to see what you want to see.
  5. Hey Mods... is there a way to prevent someone with the title "Probation" under their name from starting new threads? Asking for a friend......
  6. This has always been my opinion on it.... The average life expectancy in the NFL, for a RB for example, is under four years. How long are they going to be in the "farm system" for, and how much wear and tear does it do on their body? The only exception to the rule that I can think of is maybe Fred Jackson, who played in NFL Europe before coming to Buffalo, but he only played there one year.
  7. Great writeup as always, @Shaw66. I'll say this. I was as upset with the Allen pick as anybody. But I'm definitely on board the Allen train. The kid just has things that you can't teach. This is absolutely true when you look at what Mayfield has had to work with vs. what Allen has had to work with.
  8. I think the line is partially to blame, for sure. Big part of the equation... But I think our QB situation is just as much to blame. When we're trotting out Nate Peterman, or Derek Anderson, the game plan for the defense is pretty simple. Load the box and stop #25. Because our QB's sure as hell weren't going to beat them. I think now with a bit steadier QB play, his production will come up a bit.
  9. Yeah, but empty ones don't fly quite as well.....
  10. I don't know about that.... you ever thrown an empty beer can? It hit with the velocity of one that definitely had something in it.
  11. Hard to blame a coach though, for a player's mental error. I mean I know the coaches share some responsibility there... but ultimately, the players have to execute and know where they're supposed to be.
  12. Because they have the best running back in the game. Obviously. And don't forget who their head coach and Quarterback are.
  13. I love this kid. I know he had a rough start to preseason, but he's really grown in to a heck of a young player. And I think he'll only continue to get better. I hope he's here for a long time!!
  14. Agree 10000000% percent. I live in the Charlotte, NC area, where the stadium is right smack in the middle of downtown. The "tailgating" experience there is almost non-existent.
  15. I agree. Plus, at $11 a beer, you bet your ass I'm DRINKING that beer, not wasting it on throwing it at Fournette.
  16. Definitely was NOT an Allen fan when they drafted him... But he just has some of those things you can't teach. He has started and finished exactly six games in his NFL career.
  17. Like the time he won a National Championship? Literally less than a year ago?
  18. Did I miss something? Or or did I just dream that our punter put TWO balls inside the two yard line yesterday. I could’ve swore that actually happened.
  19. I don’t know why ANYONE would shell out that kind of cash for a RB in general. You can find good backs on days 2-3 in the draft. May not be quite Bell’s level, but if you can get 80% of that production for 10% of the price, why wouldn’t you?
  20. Beane and McDermott would never pay that kind of money for a guy that puts himself before his team. Period.
  21. You're considering a Bills receiver in fantasy football? Is it a 16-team league with 2 flex slots?
  22. Five out of six are totally winnable games. Even the game against NE is, if we have an offense that even remotely resembles what we saw in the Meadowlands last week. Going to be much tougher in their house, but if our defense continues to play the way that they have, we are certainly still alive.
  23. I can't stand when people type "offence" and "defence" instead of "offense" and "defense"
