  1. Um. No. Whaley made the trade and pick. I'm not going to sit here and go "Beane should be fired for passing on Mahomes" when he was working for Damn Carolina at the time.
  2. Pizza the Hutt : Well, if it isn't Lone Starr. And his sidekick, Puke!
  3. Absolutely. I'm on board with you here. This season was supposed to suck. Seeing what they did last year with crap talent was certainly promising. You do realize Doug Whaley was the GM, right? I'm getting awfully tired of having to point this out over. and over. and over. This is stupid. What moves? Trade away draft picks to get a WR so we'll win 6 games instead of 4? What's the point of that? At that point we're still not going anywhere this year, and we'll actually end up with a later draft pick. I'd argue that I'd rather stay put, save the capital, not take on a big contract (after making such a concious effort to shed horrible contracts) while not getting rid of the picks we need to build the team going forward, and get a draft pick near the top. Sure, it'll make this season suck, but I think we all expected that. Trying to add personnel at this point is absolutely counter-productive to the long-term goals of the current FO.
  4. At least I'll be able to get to bed at a decent hour! Figure the middle of the third quarter is what, 10:30?
  5. Good luck actually selling them... I'm sure there are still plenty available at the ticket office.
  6. I seem to remember a TON of people on this board wanting McD to hire him.........
  7. All I did was click your username, and it shows every post you've made. And I'm not kidding.. Every. Single. Post. is bitching about this team and how sorry they are, stupid they are, etc. Again, if you hate this team so much, why do you root for them?
  8. Why do you root for this team? In every post you make, you seem to hate everything about it. I'm just curious
  9. 1. My mom grew up in a little small town in western Kansas, and went to high school with a guy named Steve Tasker. The same year she moved back to NY with my Dad (who actually grew up a Cowboys fan, but died a DIE-HARD Bills fan) was the same year Steve signed with the Bills. We used to go out to OP on Sundays to watch Steve play. I have pictures of my brother and I in the locker room with Steve when we were little, and with Thurman and all of those early 90's guys, although I don't remember it. So, you could say that I was literally born into it. 2. I love how the Bills are always the epitome of a blue-collar town. Not high profile, hard work. 3. My favorite memory actually ended up a loss... but it was sitting in the stands vs. the Cowboys on MNF in 2007. We had season tickets 3 rows from the field. What an atmosphere the Ralph was that night. It was a hell of a lot of fun for about 59 minutes of football.
  10. you forgot, "and whose starting QB is injured"
  11. Yeah, I know Murph sounded like he was sick this particular week, but that's not the norm.
  12. exaggerate much? Miss all of 2019?
  13. Ugh. Almost thankful it won't be shown local for me. I'd rather listen to Murph and Kelso than them.
  14. Welcome back, SaviorPeterman! I thought you were gone for good!
  15. Yes. This shouldn't even be a question.
  16. Who cares? McCarron is not here. It doesn't matter at this point. Let's just pray that Josh's injury isn't serious, and Anderson is ready to go this week so we can cut Peterman.
  17. Yeah, It's THE reason Al Gore invented the internet!
  18. I'm with you! I'll critique his performance, but no knee jerk reactions of "he's the savior!" or "he's a bust!"
  19. I've never understood it. It'd be like Bills fans chanting, "EEEEEEEERRRRRRIIIIEEEEEEEE!!!!" You're chanting for the county you play in? I don't get it.
  20. Will their fans still chant, "DUUUUUUUVAAAALLLLLLLLLL"?
  21. I don't think Anderson is nearly as bad as many on here are making him out to be. I mean I know he's no Tom Brady.. but he's definitely not Peterman. Anybody that's comparing the two does not know what they're talking about. He's a very capable backup in this league, but just that. A backup. I think he's here because they know that if Allen is hurt, we're going to lose by 40 every week with Peterman, and he's a veteran QB that so many have been clamoring for to have Josh learn from. I wouldn't be surprised to see Peterman cut after about 2 weeks of Anderson learning the playbook.
  22. I don't see them keeping Peterman after a week or 2 to get Anderson up to speed. I understand keeping him short-term, in case of emergency. But Definitely after the NE game on Monday Night, I'd expect him to be gone.
  23. They must be confident that Hyde will be ready to go this week.
  24. I think calling him best in the league is a stretch... but I don’t think you’d have anybody argue if you said he’s top-5, maybe even top-3. I mean, can you think of more than two guys around the league that are clearly, obviously, far-and-away better than Tre?
