  1. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/03/02/yannick-ngakoue-im-not-interested-in-long-term-deal-with-jags/ Not saying he's in play for us because he still may get tagged but he has no desire to play for Jax at all.
  2. I can see Green sitting out if he's tagged. It's basically a one year "prove you're healthy" deal for a guy who has nothing to prove as a 7x PB'er. Plus, he'll be one year older which hurts his chances when he's a FA in landing a beneficial final contract. Beane should offer a 3rd, maybe a 2nd if he passes a physical convincingly.
  3. Why go compete with the Bears when you can start with a better team in Tennessee? Tannehill is gonna get 20 plus in FA. That's not what you pay a QB to compete, that's starter money.
  4. It's a welcome change hearing top prospects say, I'd really like being a part of a "playoff" team like the Buffalo Bills.
  5. You do realize there's no monetary compensation on this message board for clicks, right? I state this because from what we know of Burfict both on the collegiate and pro level and what we have in McBeane, how would this compute as a good idea? The guy's a head case and has no place in the NFL.
  6. He's 25 and stays healthy: True He's very good: Up for debate. He's steady and serviceable if anything. Nothing he does on tape stands out and blows you away. Worth retaining? Yes Elite LT money? No
  7. I can't go by a stat line that's a year removed cause of injury. I can only go by what we've all seen this past year, and Shaq was the better player. He's younger and starting to hit his stride as he figures things out. Vernon's best days are behind him in IMO, but that's just my opinion. Only McBeane can determine if he's worthy to hold a place here.
  8. True, but Shaq's the FA, not Murphy. Vernon may be a slight upgrade over Murphy if healthy. Very slight.
  9. Or some of those delicious red gummy fish.? Perhaps some meatballs as well.
  10. I was never impressed with this guy, even when people thought he was good.
  11. True, but I keep reading here is that Jordan Phillips isn't going to be persued as a priority FA because we have Harrison Phillips coming back and Oliver progressing at the position. Personally I'd love to retain Jordan but he might've played himself out of Buffalos price range, for him in particular. And if we're comparing Ed Oliver and J. Phillips? Ed also has youth and a rookie contract. Doesn't bode well for us retaining Jordan unless he bombs in FA.
  12. I like Harry but has he proven to be noticeably better than Phillips the last 2 seasons? I don't think so personally. Harry's advantage is youth and a rookie contract.
  13. Yeah that one is pretty bad. He's like the 70th prospect ranked and 6th graded OL in the draft but we're taking him in the 1st? Yet Higgins, Gross-Matos and swift are still on the board. What a joke!!
  14. They'll give Tannehill a really good and fair deal like 3 years at 70 mil. They'll tag Henry and try to work something out with Conklin. No way all 3 get long term deals. Doesn't seem feasible but I could be wrong. Lewan has a massive contract already.
  15. Well we did select Tre White over Mahomes when we were in need of a QB so it's justifiable. FTR, I really like Josh, but I'm sure if we could all go back? Well, you know.....
  16. Totally agree Hap. Wasn't against signing him as I thought he'd be a good pick up and still productive player. I was referring to compensation and where we are as a team. No doubt we were outbid by Seattle and the appeal to play with Wilson was too enticing. Also, Washington is a No Income Tax state.which is always a factor. 7 mil is a lot for a 34 yo TE, IMO.
  17. Hey, I never looked at it that way! Let's follow up one bad mistake with an even more colossal one.? This team is close, very close. Stop going after other teams throw a ways and start locking up young talented contributors instead of one year over priced rentals.
  18. I'm sure that's more than Beane was thinking. Considering Graham and Kelce make 10 and 9 mil respectively, 7 is way too much for Olsen. Hooper is ready to reset the market at probably 11.5. Go after the young stud instead.
  19. He'd be a great #2 CB on our team but unfortunately wants to get paid like a #1 somewhere else. He's a very good corner who's trying to lock down an elite contract way over his value. And in no way, shape or form is he worth anything above a 3rd round pick as far as draft compensation.
  20. Lol? Like I said dude, no horse in the race. But I'm glad they're still fans out there to protect the integrity of the NFL? But everybody already knows the NFL is on the up and up, right? You're right in one sense though. When and if ever an egregiously bad call favors the Buffalo Bills that results in a championship outcome, I'll smile and walk away as I bite my tongue.
  21. I'm always for second chances and a change of scenery scenarios, but it's a hard pass for me dawg.
