  1. Whitehead in Oakland and now Kirksey is available. Out of the 2, I think I'd rather have................ Schobert? Beat me to it. ?
  2. For those that are pessimistic about this signing, take a moment to think. He signed with a team that offered him a ridiculous contract. He was looking to get paid, who could blame him? A team that runs a different scheme than the one he thrives in. A team that's a complete dumpster ? from owner to management to coaching. A team whose overall morale is in the toilet, no one wants to play there. Pros: Now he's on a team that's on the rise with his old defensive coach in the scheme he excels. Low risk/ high yield investment for a player that 4 years ago was considered one of the best at his position. Cons: Will he be motivated? He is older and has made enough money not to care. Big ego and a mouth to go with it. As many here say, I defer to McDermott. He knows him better than anyone and knows what he'll bring if healthy.
  3. If the Pats sign Johnson it will be a genius move. But when the Bills sign Norman it's Armageddon!!! Such is life as a Bills fan.
  4. To me IMO the kid's a baller. I'd sooner pay him 9 mil than Star. The guy brings fire on defense and someone will pay him over 10 mil a year, book it.. I find it funny that a team desperate for sack production would disregard and discard their sack leader who's a DT.
  5. 8-8 with a: Top 3 RB Arguably the best O line in the NFL Amari Cooper He's good, just not good enough.
  6. You obviously think he can't reproduce his performance from last year. Getting Phillips at 9 mil would be an absolute steal if he continues to replicate last years numbers.
  7. For Milano and Dawkins, yes. For Tre, no. Get him done now before he has another stellar year and the price goes up.
  8. Fine. If you want to nitpick my post. Can we at least agree that: 1. He is a 7x PB'er 2. He was a AP 2nd team All Pro, but has made All Pro in other venues like the Sporting News and PFF 4 other times. 3. He is more talented and a serious upgrade over Dawkins. 4. His age and desire to be the highest paid is hurting his campaign. 5. Unless his demands change drastically he will not be a Buffalo Bill
  9. And yet he was the only CB in the league last season not to allow a passing TD, go figure...He's better than Xavien Howard and look what Miami gave him. That being said I expect him to be in the Top 3 paid CB's in the NFL. He's the only true "No Brainer" on the team. Sure, Dawkins and Milano may be retained but they are nowhere in the conversation of being the best at their positions. Tre Day will soon be known as Tre Pay Day......
  10. Why in the world would a perennial All Pro LT want to play RT? I'd love to see him at LT while moving Dawkins to RT. As mentioned Dawkins is an average and serviceable LT but Williams is a far superior player. His age and the desire to be the highest paid LT plus the fact a team will have to give up at least a 2nd rounder will not help his cause. Williams and Dawkins as bookends with Morse at C and Ford and Feliciano at G is a beautiful fantasy.
  11. Bouye is very good when there's a bona fide #1 CB on the other side (Ramsey in Jax and Joseph in Houston). He would have been very good here with Tre and an instant upgrade. Not a surprise his play regressed once Ramsey jumped ship.
  12. You're right! Before last season after turning down his option we could have at least gotten a bags of kicking tees and a case of Gatorade for him.
  13. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/03/02/yannick-ngakoue-im-not-interested-in-long-term-deal-with-jags/ Not saying he's in play for us because he still may get tagged but he has no desire to play for Jax at all.
  14. I can see Green sitting out if he's tagged. It's basically a one year "prove you're healthy" deal for a guy who has nothing to prove as a 7x PB'er. Plus, he'll be one year older which hurts his chances when he's a FA in landing a beneficial final contract. Beane should offer a 3rd, maybe a 2nd if he passes a physical convincingly.
  15. Why go compete with the Bears when you can start with a better team in Tennessee? Tannehill is gonna get 20 plus in FA. That's not what you pay a QB to compete, that's starter money.
  16. It's a welcome change hearing top prospects say, I'd really like being a part of a "playoff" team like the Buffalo Bills.
  17. You do realize there's no monetary compensation on this message board for clicks, right? I state this because from what we know of Burfict both on the collegiate and pro level and what we have in McBeane, how would this compute as a good idea? The guy's a head case and has no place in the NFL.
  18. He's 25 and stays healthy: True He's very good: Up for debate. He's steady and serviceable if anything. Nothing he does on tape stands out and blows you away. Worth retaining? Yes Elite LT money? No
  19. I can't go by a stat line that's a year removed cause of injury. I can only go by what we've all seen this past year, and Shaq was the better player. He's younger and starting to hit his stride as he figures things out. Vernon's best days are behind him in IMO, but that's just my opinion. Only McBeane can determine if he's worthy to hold a place here.
  20. True, but Shaq's the FA, not Murphy. Vernon may be a slight upgrade over Murphy if healthy. Very slight.
  21. Or some of those delicious red gummy fish.? Perhaps some meatballs as well.
  22. I was never impressed with this guy, even when people thought he was good.
