Not sure about the separation bit, I think his speed is pretty evident on tape. One thing that did stand out to me in the three games I watched is the guy runs one route. Like a pass rusher who constantly uses speed to get around left tackles but overshoots the quarterback, Metcalf's bread and butter is to try and run around the outside of the cornerback and beat him on a go route, and its over and over again. It's clear he is immensely physically gifted, but I think he is going to be over drafted based on his gifts and have to learn a lot on the fly about being a wideout.

Pretty sure he came out a month ago and said he would consider the TB job as well. -
Nick Foles Contract
thenorthremembers replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It will be interesting to watch. I am not a Foles guy, throws way too many lame duck 50 50 balls. But Wentz didnt look like the same player this year. -
Von Miller’s mom wants a trade, blames Elway
thenorthremembers replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My real confusion here is why everyone here seems to think the only two generations in the last forty years are millenials and baby boomers. Have a feeling that points to the greater underlying problem. Also 1987 wasn't the random cut in date for being a millenial. -
Greg Rosenthal QB Index
thenorthremembers replied to CommonCents's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
100% Correct. The Ravens are running an offense very similar to what Kentucky did this year, should tell you a lot about Lamar. Run, Run, Run, play fake the run throw to the Tight End for a small gain and hope he takes it up field. -
Underclassmen declaring for draft
thenorthremembers replied to YoloinOhio's topic in College Football
I agree. Brown is electric speed wise, but his hands, consistency, and size should all be considered major issues. The height doesn't bother me as much as the weight but his stature reminds me a lot of Roscoe Parrish. -
Antonio Brown Trade Value
thenorthremembers replied to IgotBILLStopay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He has no value because the Steelers should force his hand after he acted like a total jerk. If they trade him they have to suffer the dead cap. If they don't trade him, and he keeps up the bs they can put him on the failed to report list. This is the OBJ crap from last year. It's good for the football news guys but it seems far from reality -
[Name Only Title] Dwayne Haskins...
thenorthremembers replied to DefenseWins's topic in College Football
He should be the top quarterback in this years class with Herbert staying in school. The mechanics guys will be all over him, saw how well that argument worked with Rosen last year. He is the most gifted at the position and did a great job this year. People have him ranked in the #50s right now, but if I had to bet he will be the guy who rockets up the board in the next few months like he was some well kept secret. The thing that worries me is lack of experience, but someone has to be QB1. -

Ray Brown. Waa with Beane and McDermott in Carolina, started his coaching career here in 2008. Will be on the outs in Arizona after Wilkes being let go. -

Bieniemy is the guy Is covet if we were looking. Happy we don't have to go through that this year. -
Shaq Lawson 5th year option on the table
thenorthremembers replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd decline the option, he would make the average of the 3rd-25th highest paid players at his position for this year. Not 100% sure by I think that's somewhere between 10 and 11 million for a guy who had 4 sacks this year. You can get his production from a rookie at far less money. Happy he worked harder this year but it may be too little too late for him. -
If Mike Mayock had run our draft last five years
thenorthremembers replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We'd have a pro bowler, a defensive tackle who doesn't like football, a linebacker who shouldnt be in the league, and a maybe franchise qb. So anywhere from 50 to 25 percent success rate, which is par for the course. Should note all of those guys have immense talent, two just happen to be head cases. -
End of Season Rank the rookie QB's
thenorthremembers replied to RPbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mayfield Jackson Darnold and Allen are interchangeable Rosen However Lamar Jackson gets to second based on win percentage and throwing to tight ends and runningbacks. Watched him last night and he is severely limited as a passer, especially to wideouts. I think he will flame out as a passer in the next three years. -

My brother in law is a Raiders fan. For his sake I hope everything works out. Del Rio deserved to be fired, but this year has been a train wreck. -

Kyle Williams was overrated imo...
thenorthremembers replied to BuffaloBud420's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How do you figure he was overrated? No one ever said he was a hall of fame. But he is a 5x Pro Bowler for GOD'S sake. -
It's hard. I've never eaten too poorly, but if I dont exercise it's over. I love to work out, but finding time really is an issue. Going to try and use my lunch break, when I have them, to work out. I've started running in the mornings again. Cold in WNY but have to bite the bullet. Kind of to the point where I am embarrassed to go to a gym, but need to get over that as well. I'll be 36 this year, and if I dont start losing the weight now I know Ill be in big trouble. My Dad passed at 38 from a massive heart attack and I'd rather not go that route.

Just found this club on here, and was excited to see it. Been all over the map in my life weight wise. 6'1 and my highest was 295 junior year of high school. My lowest was 165 the year I got engaged to my wife. Never thought I'd get over 200 again, but stopped being a vegetarian, stopped working out daily, and started having a few beers. Six years later and I am 235 and my doctor told me last visit I need to fix it. Hoping to lose about 50 pounds, my goal weight is 185. Glad to see there is a place to track progress and see how everyone else is doing. Great job everyone who is losing it. My thirties has been a killer. Don't eat awful, but have a stressful job with a lot of hours and not a lot of opportunity for exercise.
