Josh Allen - Accuracy on the Long Ball
thenorthremembers replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Definitely been thinking the same thing. It seemed like he was stepping into the long throws better last year. I've noticed, especially against the Patriots he was drifting or running backwards while throwing the more low pct throws. -
Yep very easy. I went online and did it. Done two weddings and a funeral since then.

Bet America commercial on WGR

I hear you on those. The sports podcasts I listen to always seem to have them. Makes it kind of discouraging to try and listen while I do work around the house. -
First coach fired this season?

Jay Gruden, should and will be the first. O'brien really should be out in Houston. -

I cant take the ZipRecruiter one. The way they say NEEDLE makes my skin crawl. -
This. Allen has started 15 games. 9 or those 15 games he had more than 1 turnover. 7 of those 15 games were multi interception games. 2 of those games are multi touchdown games. He is a bigger liability than he is a help. Nothing about the kid makes me think he is going to be a long term answer at QB. He is very lucky to be on a good team. People want to believe there is this light that goes on for quarterbacks. I've never seen it. Good quarterbacks usually come into the league good. Josh is the same player he was in college. Extremely physically gifted, but incredibly prone to huge mistakes. The biggest question for me is if McBeane are willing to let their careers be ruined by the kid, or if they will be smart enough to move on after next year.

I think he is the quarterback of an exceptionally good football team, but I wouldnt say I ever went over to the side of having faith in him. Running aside, he is putting up numbers very close to guys like Blake Bortles, Deshone Kizer, and Geno Smith- sense a trend here. I am not sure Josh is ever going to be a good starter in the NFL. I think the Bills spent a first round pick on a more athletic Derek Anderson. Everytime he rolls to his right everyone knows whats coming. I hope I am wrong, but he may be the worst starting quarterback in the league right now.

Beasley's skillset?
thenorthremembers replied to LyndonvilleBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They arent everything but they are something. If you want to say QBR which is a statistical mix mash is similar to YPC and touchdowns per game be my guest. I think youre going a long ways to defend a comment you made that isnt true. Die on that hill because it really doesnt matter. Edleman isnt a burner neither is Beasley. -
Beasley's skillset?

Again Edleman has almost the exact same yards per reception as Beasley and less tds per year. As such your assessment that one can take it to the house on you and the other falls down isnt correct. -
Beasley's skillset?
thenorthremembers replied to LyndonvilleBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think playing with Brady has blinded people to ehat Edleman is. He may be a better athlete than Beasley but for God's sake he doesnt burn you. His yards per reception is exactly .6 of a yard better than Beasley over their career. When you talk about touchdowns per season Beasley has Edleman. The difference is really targets. Edleman is targeted a ton and Beasley spent most of his early career as a 4th wideout. Not saying Beasley is better at all. But lets live in reality a bit when it comes to what Edleman is. -
What's the appeal with Notre Dame Football?
thenorthremembers replied to Another Fan's topic in College Football
Easy enough. Michigan, Notre Dame, and Ohio State are the three teams that are consistently on television in the Northeast every weekend. You watch enough of those games and they become the teams you cheer on. There is something very cool about Notre Dame's uniforms, the play like a champion today ritual. I enjoy them and could care less if they win in the College Football playoff. Aside from Alabama and Clemson no one else really does. -
Does anyone miss Zach Brown? Nigel Bradham?
thenorthremembers replied to Markjaro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bradham is a pro bowl level linebacker but he is also a pro bowl level idiot off the field. Think Milano is the better player right now -
No thanks. He is an average wideout who has name recognition. If youre going to pay someone that amount of money go big and get a game changer. Otherwise wait until the offseason.

Just glad the guy is ok. Hopefully it was a young and dumb thing and not an old and dumb thing.
