I feel the same way about Clowney. But with the Bills letting Shaq move on, and having the money they do, I am starting to get a weird feeling they may be in on him after all.

Its not just how they structured contractss. They have space because outside of Tretter, Richardson, Vernon, Landry and Beckham they have a ton of players on their rookie contracts. The Browns have a ton of space because when Sashi Brown was running the team they got rid of bloated contracts and stocked up on draft picks. By the time they have to pay Myles Garrett and Baker Mayfield, buys like Vernon and Beckham will be gone. The Cap is still the Cap, you cant pay everyone at once. But if you are smart enough to have some stars on rookie deals, and others on deals that expire or are through guaranteed money before those rookie deals are up they can coexist. It helps that the Browns have continually picked in the top ten for years.

With them not signing Shaq, I think you're right. I think they'll be in on Clowney.

I would love this signing. Probably in the range of what Tevin Coleman got last year, maybe just a touch less. Fair value is probably in the 4 million dollar per year range. 2yr/8million would be a good contract for Howard. Drake is going to be one of the top paid running backs in the league before its said and done.

Clowney is the Sammy Watkins of defensive ends. Never plays a full season, gets paid a ton of money for average production, yet many people will tell you he is great because he incredibly gifted and has a great game from time to time. Rather have 16 good games a season than 2 great ones. Just my opinion.

No sir. Since leaving BB he has had the 23rd and 31st ranked defenses. Not entirely sure Frazier gets another shot at HC in the league.

I completely agree on Ngakoue. I also believe Clowney is athletically superior to both of them, I just wonder about how much effort he is putting in. A guy with his tools should be taking over games, and thats never been the case with him.

Thought he was good most of the season and was a big reason we lost the playoff game. Dont like what it says about Ford at Right Tackle long term but it is a hell of a deal.

Based on tape he should be the 4th wideout off the board. His tape is better than Shenault's and Jefferson's. A lot of people were worried because at one point he ran a 4.75 40 and at times he failed to separate on the field. IMO the lack of separation is just as much an issue for Jefferson, and Jefferson made most of his money in the slot. Higgins is a big X wideout who wins on 50/50 passes. His timed speed does answer some questions, and I think he should be in play at 22.
