  1. Indy are likely to finish 2nd behind Houston. And I still think the Chargers will finish 2nd behind KC. AFC North looks like a cripple fight. So yeah, Indy or LAC.
  2. Watch the greatest race on the planet - the Bathurst 1000 Starts 8.00PM this Saturday (Buffalo time)
  3. Across a number of sites NFL power rankings, they currently have the Bills as low as 12th and as high as 8th. They appear to have us as the 3rd or 4th ranked team in the AFC.
  4. Start sculpting the Beane statue.
  5. This is a pivotal point in recent Bills history. A win today and a move to a 4-1 record could be the start of a sustained attack on the NFL playoffs for years to come. Go Bills!!
  6. What'd he do - run head first into the team bus?
  7. Yeah, that would be kind of like limbo dancing under the belly of an alligator
  8. This guy could have had an extra 50 million in his account had he just knuckled down and played 3 respectable seasons with Oakland. Instead, he rips into the GM and then disrespects an entire fanbase by celebrating his release and uploading it for all to see. He is an arseclown of epic proportions and a mental midget to boot. I seriously hope this is the last we hear of him, though unlikely as the stiffs at ESPN will probably do a 1 hour, 10 man round table on him titled "AB - What went wrong"
  9. About the only thing he deserves is his own wrong number so other people can hang up on him. Otherwise, I wouldn't even waste an insult on a loser like Vontae.
  10. I am interested in knowing how people here might assess the importance of his off season tutoring with Jordan Palmer and what impact that might have had on his development - because to me it looks like he has significantly improved all aspects of his game relative to last season. Obviously the improved OL, WR and TE units factor into his improvement as well.
  11. A lot will depend on the strengths and weaknesses of the opposing defence. On our side, with Shady gone, Devin unproven and Gore on his last legs I suspect we will be running the ball a lot less, at least in the first half of the season. Either way, it is all contingent on Josh's ability to increase his completion percentage.
  12. Lack of brain cells is worrying. Good luck "XABI64"
  13. Checking calendar.....nope, just as I suspected, its not the 1st of April. It is however a case of either grand larceny or misleading conduct, passing off Bodine as an NFL centre.
  14. Even in preseason, I just can't find a negative in going 4-0. And it must do wonders for team spirit. Just need to pummel the Jets now.
  15. I'd be surprised if they rated him higher than Foster. I also think Duke is a lock because we simply don't have a WR of that profile. Yeah, Zay has his arse hanging out for mine. Not saying he should be cut but at the end of the day it's a numbers game.
  16. I wish this whole laughing at Peterman thing would stop. He is a thoroughly decent kid who tries his best but is simply not cut out for the NFL. Doesn't mean that he deserves to be ridiculed.
  17. I always had a good vibe about Teller, ever since I saw that college play where he pancakes the crap out of the opposing defensive lineman. Teller is definitely a keeper. Lock him into the 53.
  18. What I think most here might be unaware of is that ESPN is broadcast right around the world as part of most pay tv/cable/satellite packages, and that those of us outside the US cannot simply turn on CBS, NBC or NFL network to get our football fix. I also suspect ESPN don't feel too bad about lower ratings at home when the global audience is so large.
  19. Further proof, if any was required, that this board really needs a thumbs-down icon.
  20. Yeah he definitely said it. Great interview and about time you had a feature story on the Bills ESPN you schmucks!
  21. Its all you've got if you live on the other side of the planet.
  22. We had the great fortune of owning a pit bull for 14 years. The day we had to put him to sleep due to an illness was one of the saddest days of my life. During those 14 years, I was accutely aware of the fact that I had a potential ticking time bomb on my hands and that I had to mitigate that risk by being the most responsible owner that I could be from day one. The fear of losing my dog due to any act of ill-discipline or poor supervision on my part ensured that I very rarely dropped my guard. The end result was a magnificent dog with exemplary behaviour. In short - owning a pit bull is hard work and requires much discipline. If you are not prepared to be disciplined then you are simply not fit to own a pit bull. What I would also say is that in my experience the likelihood of a pit bull demonstrating aggression increases dramatically in two broad instances: 1. when there is another dog involved - particularly another male dog. 2. When the owner is an ego driven moron or indeed aggressive himself I don't know what the laws are like in the US, but here in Australia the breed has been banned in most states (although there are loopholes such as classifying thr dog as an American Staffordshire), which is sad because it is clear that a handful of irresponsible morons have ruined things for the rest of us. So in answer to the OPs question - yes to background checks and licensing. It is the best way to ensure the survival of what is a beautiful breed.
