  1. Its not a wash. They had to fly 1551 miles just to get to NE. That's over 3100 miles return, with 3 days game prep, after playing on a wet track. OTOH, we will have 10 days to rest up after our game and 1200 mile return flight. Advantage good guys.
  2. Like a shot of tequila every time they get caught clapping? Yeah....we'd all end up in hospital before the half.
  3. Tyrone Biggums - WR - Colombia University
  4. 3. A blocked punt and TD at Foxboro for a 7-point win and a tie breaker against the Cheats. Seriously...it's been a while - I looked it up.
  5. Great analysis. I would just add that if you are going to include Knox as a potential plan B offensive threat for us then you have to allow for Noah Fant as a genuine target for Denver.
  6. Zerovoltz - I don't see 60% of that forum saying that they prefer Allen to Chubb, more like 25%. That said, amongst all the fairly ignorant people on there, I wholeheartedly agree with the guy who points out that Josh does not throw receivers open. I truly believe that this is the only component of his game that is stopping him from achieving true quarterback greatness (the deep balls will come). If he can throw guys open and increase his YAC numbers then I am confident that we will have another HOFer on our books.
  7. We're being watched by about one-poofteenth of the country. Yay!
  8. What a bizarre incident. Yeah look, if the NFL has a shred of credibility then he cannot play another snap this year.
  9. I think we peaked against the Giants. That was our only real complete offensive performance - if you can call it that. Haven't played a decent game since.
  10. Wasn't he the number one ranked tackler in the NFL in 2017? He must have dropped right off the edge of the cliff this year.
  11. Agree with this. For me it is the unknowns which concern me the most: - Will Josh become an elite QB - How will our top draftees from the last 2 drafts (Edmunds, Ford, Oliver) turn out - How wisely will we use next years picks and will they become impact players - Can our current coaches develop game plans and plays to get the best out of our roster At the moment I lean slightly more towards being hopeful than confident
  12. Even blind Freddie can see there has been a dramatic improvement in his play and decision making. Still more work to be done though. I'm backing him in.
  13. Not sure why anybody would be bothered by this. We have not beaten any team with a winning pedigree. Besides, I prefer Superbowl by stealth.
  14. Why are people constantly shitcanning Booger? I think he is a good analyst.
  15. After we got gashed on the ground last week and then again during the first half this week with AP running through our D like a dodgy dinner at Applebees, I find it amazing that someone would give this serious thought. And then there is the " work in progress" offense. Pump the brakes is the phrase that comes to mind.
  16. He's a legit WR1 but still behind a bunch of guys ...Hopkins, OBJ, Julio, Thielen, Evans, Thomas, Green, Hill, Allen are all ahead of him IMO. In any case, I would rather we draft a WR with a big catch radius like Julio and sticky hands like Hopkins if we can get one at around pick 20 (yeah I'm not asking for much).
  17. Is it just me or do i detect a really strong sense of frustration from Beasley?
  18. You say pompous, I say elegant and textbook. I am not a fan of: - Bogan Aussie - Southern US trailer trash and NYC "New Yoooooooorker" - Heavy NZ Maori - Anything Geordie / far North England In my experience, all of the above can produce levels of ear burning discomfort which are typically proportional to the level of intellect of the speaker.
