Nobody could even believe we drafted EJ that night and especially where we drafted him........it was a huge reach/gamble that never paid off for us. Draft analysts were having a field day trying to figure out what our regime was doing and as we all learned, even they didn't know what they were doing and it showed that night.

Without fail i almost always root against any AFC team, especially KC and in the NFC, it's Dallas (but this week i want Dallas to win) so you can see my suffering going on here.

From the ole eye test, winning the battles in the trenches AND over the middle.

He's above average as of now, but just wait till a game is on the line and we need that FG to win it (i'm not counting the wide right against KC last year in the playoffs, as we don't know if the FG would even have won us the game.......13 seconds fiasco comes to mind). The kicker has one job.....one job, that's it and if you can't rely 100% on him to do that job, then you look elsewhere and the fact that our FO didn't even consider looking at any other kickers in the off season (i'm assuming here) is disgusting. If it were up to me, i would remove all kicking of any sort out of the game......punts, extra points, FG's, etc......outta here.

A young roster is cheaper, hungrier, they haven't been beaten down with the past ghosts of this team yet, healthier (maybe), etc......this roster will have the time to grow together and build off each other. Beane is setting this team up right for the future.
