Less of a conspiracy and more of a business plan to maximize profit. Stating that the success of a specific franchise is more profitable is not a conspiracy. This aim toward profit drives specific corporate interests and decisions. None of this is conspiracy (at least not in the colloquial use of the term).
I guess it was a bad joke. It just seems that there is always one or two people who blame the victim and then extrapolate the event into a broader social issue in the U.S. e.g. media, soft liberals, pc culture, etc.
Let's not convict him yet. She may have provoked him. The media loves to sensationalize abuse of women by men because of its agenda. People are too soft these days.
And if this was your reaction, well...I don't know what to say.
Let's say their first 20 starts. Allen doesn't look as good as Big Ben or Rivers.
Yes. There should be someone.
I imagine if Allen doesn't improve in year three, they'll draft someone before year four. But may still play Allen in year four.
Ten coins on Allen for one more full season (2020). If he still is average at best, find someone else (not an easy find). He really looks like Tannehill or Mariota or one of those very average guys who can win with a lot of help. But he doesn't look like Big Ben or Rivers did in first two seasons. A third season will confirm if he's going to be any better than frighteningly average.
I think that we can admit the process will not amount to much at the end of the season if we finish 8-8 or worse. Maybe even 9-7. But I think we will definitely get one more year of the process.
