  1. He was also given a free pass to roid up in the nfl. ?
  2. While you're there visit the Victorville Film Archive. Largest film archive in the country. They sell a pack with all the A Star is Born films on vhs.
  3. I guess it was a bad joke. It just seems that there is always one or two people who blame the victim and then extrapolate the event into a broader social issue in the U.S. e.g. media, soft liberals, pc culture, etc.
  4. Let's not convict him yet. She may have provoked him. The media loves to sensationalize abuse of women by men because of its agenda. People are too soft these days. And if this was your reaction, well...I don't know what to say.
  5. Modern young coaches, too. All these modern people!
  6. Let's say their first 20 starts. Allen doesn't look as good as Big Ben or Rivers. Yes. There should be someone. I imagine if Allen doesn't improve in year three, they'll draft someone before year four. But may still play Allen in year four.
  7. Ten coins on Allen for one more full season (2020). If he still is average at best, find someone else (not an easy find). He really looks like Tannehill or Mariota or one of those very average guys who can win with a lot of help. But he doesn't look like Big Ben or Rivers did in first two seasons. A third season will confirm if he's going to be any better than frighteningly average.
  8. Fitz has won two straight. Let's hope he doesn't stay red hot.
  9. I think that we can admit the process will not amount to much at the end of the season if we finish 8-8 or worse. Maybe even 9-7. But I think we will definitely get one more year of the process.
  10. I agree about the next few games. I think we land somewhere between 7-9 and 9-7. 6-10 would not surprise me, 10-6 would be a shock.
  11. When you realize that Orton was the best Bills QB in the past 20 years.
  12. I work all over the city six days a week. Perhaps I stereotyped the population a bit. But there are entire cities like Escondido, Poway, Del Mar, San Ysidro, El Cajon etc. where 9 out of 10 people do not care about the NFL. You must be talking about the huge NFL fan presence in Santee and Rancho Bernardo. Haha!
  13. Most of the city doesn't care. People immediately south and east of the 8 are yuppies and hipsters. Go more east and south and people like soccer. Go north of the 8 a few miles and people are multicultural rich folk who barely know what the NFL is. By the beaches from La Jolla north are more rich folk who love money, cars, plastic surgery and clothes, but not the NFL. There are microscopic pockets of people who live near Qualcomm who may still like the Chargers. This place is too superficial even for the NFL! But the weather is great.
