  1. https://gazette.com/news/mitchell-football-superstar-terry-miller-talks-about-his-glory-and-his-crime-david-ramsey/article_1363fcc4-04a0-11ea-ad2e-87c76839afaf.html Not an eye injury but appears a Toe/foot injury ended his playing days. Was arrested for bank fraud in 1999 and had to pay back $179k!
  2. @Chandler#81 thanks so much for sharing. A few things I noticed. Chuck Knox loved him some 21 formation. Lewis and Piccone outside with Gant at TE and Brown and Miller at FB/RB. Bills ran for almost 200 yards in this game. Talk about a limited offense. Swan song season for FS Tony Greene as Jeff Nixon would take over in 1980. Nixon had a great start to 1980 season before a gruesome knee injury led to Bills signing Bill Simpson, an ex LA Ram to take over. Never knew why but Bills jettisoned Joe D after 1979 season and brought in Conrad Dobler at RG. Surprised to see Terry Miller rundown on his 75 yard run in this game as tackler was CB from other side of field. The Bills drafted Joe Cribbs in 1980 essentially ending Miller's NFL career. Bringing in Cribbs and a rookie TE, Mark Brammer in 1980 really gave the offense some HP in 1980.
  3. McCargo couldn't spell his last name if you spotted him the "Cargo". Carter went to Duke for starters and was a 3 year captain. McCargo started 10 of 25 games at NC State and had pedestrian numbers, .5 sacks, 24 total tackles, 0 FF, 0 FR. Now look at Carter in his 5 years at Duke: Not sure where how you formed your opinion.
  4. First name is actually Terrace and I can't see McDermott agreeing to deal for a guy with a 6% fumble rate over last 2 years. Also not on STs so not an ideal depth WR.
  5. Looks like Chad Reuter has 2 Bills Day 3 picks - Ray Davis and SVGP as late round picks with a good chance to start games this year. https://www.nfl.com/news/2024-nfl-season-day-3-rookies-who-could-compete-for-starter-snaps-in-year-1
  6. My earliest Bills memories were Collier's 1966 Bills who lost AFL Championship at home to KC, who went on to lose to Packers in first Super Bowl. Prior to that season, Collier was Bills DC. In 1967 the Bills only won 4 games, and after an 0-2 start in 1968, Collier was fired. RIP Joe!
  7. Likewise as he is married with a young family. Not sure he does broadcast now as kids are little.
  8. Neck injury 2 years straight and age 34 tells me Hyde may retire.
  9. In fairness, It was the "Fat Elvis" version of Big Ben.
  10. Not OBD flavor as had a domestic violence charge against him earlier in the year. Not to mention he went koo koo for coconuts while here before.
  11. Huh? Amari Cooper went for a 4th.
  12. Whoa there sonny!. SAT is 4/20! Smoke all the devils lettuce you want then.
  13. Not sure I've seen this posted here. https://steelersdepot.com/2024/04/scouts-raise-concerns-regarding-texas-wr-adonai-mitchells-maturity-health/ Doesn't sound like a process guy. Also, Patrick Peterson is only Type 1 diabetic that I know of who has managed to have a long, productive NFL career.
  14. Ah the Kansas City Chief Offenders continue their stranglehold on immature, dangerous and knucklehead behavior. Sure the 4 model citizens involved sauntered off as likely Under the Influence, holding some and in possession of firearms. Ain't got time for dat!
  15. One of my under the radar 5th or 6th round prospects
  16. I believe OBD has a few plans but the most likely scenario would involve a WR at 28 or a trade down from 28 into top of 2nd thus picking up a 3rd Rd pick as well. Do see OBD picking 2 WRs; one with their 1st pick (at 28 or lower) and another later but before pick 150.
  17. Wow, my take here: Sounds like the line in Kris Kristofferson's song, Sunday Morning Coming Down, "the beer I had for breakfast wasn't bad, so I had one more for dessert". Sweat was arrested at 2:12pm not AM! Day drinking at its worst? Mimosas at brunch? Still hammered from SAT night? Might very well drop a couple rounds now and be a late 4th rounder
  18. Happy for Tre. Great man and player. Gotta wonder if he turned in his Bills play book or will he be referencing it when Bills play Rams. Just sayin!
  19. 4 reasons to toast Ralph Brought AFL/NFL to WNY. Bailed out Raiders in AFL days Saved the Patriots from going under too Left $1.2 billion in his foundation to assist Detroit and BUF Thanks Ralph! RIP.
  20. The old Penthouse to the Outhouse career move. Ethan got tainted by his time on the left shore of this country.
  21. @Ethan in Cleveland I dunno, maybe move out of Cleveland to improve your perspective?
  22. Yes he had a neck injury prior to transfer to UCLA. The Leighton Vander Esch saga gives me some trepidation here.
