  1. Where the Heck Was Oliver All Day? One Bills Drive from about 10am until 5pm. Hope this helps
  2. Assuming Foster understood the Bills offense in the first place.... just sayin
  3. Ok, last year when OBD kept 6 on roster for opening day, he was beat out by Foster and McKenzie. What's changed this year? Take away Zay Jones and plug in Diggs. Take away Foster and plug in Gabriel Davis. So Duke has to beat out McKenzie, who was active all last year. Davis and Hodgins are playing on STs, not sure Duke has that ability. The CFL is off tyhis year so if he gets cut, which is likely, I hope he goes to PS
  4. I believe Fireball, any moonshine and craft brews kill Covid-19 so we should be good.
  5. Guess the Stats guys believe McCourty the S was held responsible on deep route
  6. I will re-post my response to the May discussion on net result of his trade. I believe this sums up the league's general response to MD
  7. Ok, some clarification needed here as now I am confused. Z receiver is the slot receiver. And I believe they may use Hodgins as a Big Slot per Erik Turner at Cover 1. Like Gailey used David Nelson. https://www.cover1.net/isaiah-hodgins-buffalo-bills-roster-wide-receiver/ Big Slot This is a role Bills fans have been clamoring for, and if they can acclimate Hodgins to the NFL quickly, then I could see him being their big-bodied target that can slide inside and do damage. The 6-foot-4 receiver has the size to mix it up with linebackers and strong safeties, but he needs to bulk up just a tad more to hold his own consistently. But what Hodgins does really well is run some of those tight end-type routes over the middle — but he understands how to find soft spots in zones. He is so good at getting to his landmark within the route concept but then adjusting and becoming QB-friendly. He routinely “runs to green” or locks eyes with his QB to get onto the same page in order to uncover. Playing this role will be an adjustment because it wasn’t his full-time role at Oregon State. Over the last two years, Hodgins has only been targeted 39 times in the slot, registering 408 yards and five touchdowns to go along with zero drops. Offensive coordinator Brian Daboll dabbled with the big slot role with Duke Williams in 2019. Williams was in the slot 44.4% of the time in his limited usage last year, where he was targeted six times, catching three for 18 yards but also dropping a pass.
  8. 2018 game with fight vs Shaq Lawson that led to both players ejection. Fournette had 95 yds on 18 carries. He did have 2 TDs
  9. Diggs can possibly be the new sweep guy. In last 2 years he had 15 carries for 123 yds, better than McKenzie's 19 for 119 yds. Andre Roberts can also serve in the sweep role. With Diggs or Roberts in there, teams won't be able to key on them running like they do when McKenzie is in. I see McKenzie and Hodgins in a battle for backup slot position. Roberts can play outside or slot and his KR/PR duties make him an almost lock.
  10. brought back an old memory...does a one hit wonder band qualify
  11. There were a couple teams and formations that took it to the Bills D last year. Our Run D was poor when really needed. And the Bills gave up 4.3 YPC for the year. The Eagles put Howard and Miles Sanders on the field together in 21 formation and they ran wild versus the Bills that day in the second half. So their ability to run versus our nickel package was an issue. Even when Eagles late in game went 1 back and 3 TEs vs Bills they had success versus our Base D and Jumbo package. For 218 yds rushing! Then in the 2nd NE game the Bills gave up 143 yds on 35 rushes to NE. They ran it when Bills knew it and Bills couldn't stop them. This is where Jefferson, Butler, Horrible Harry, Addison and Epenesa should help this year. Even AJ Klein at LB in the base 4-3 D should help.
  12. Roberts is pretty solid at 5'11" and 195 lbs. Yes Davis looks like he already has man strength. Believe he knows his way around the weights circuit by looking at him.
  13. Great review. Simms is a Bills backer and Allen Fan. Need to call him out on the Dion Dawkins from Pitt mention. Shnowman went to Temple.
  14. I agree. For us old timers, Ruben Brown was an OT at Pitt and converted to LG for Bills as Rookie in 95 and played at a ProBowl level for years. Also in 1986, Will Wolford played RG for his rookie season next to Joe Devlin before switching to LT. Ford played at Oklahoma where he seldom was in a 3 point stance. And the Big 12 is not known for shut down defenses with complicated blitz or run blitz schemes. There is much to learn to transition to OT in the NFL.
  15. Now that is a sick catch...!!!!! Andre had one good year as a WR in AZ in 2012 with 64 catches, 760 yds and 5 TDs. OBD may look to him to be backup to Cole in the slot if they decide to let McKenzie go. Andre, Stefon and Smoke can run reverses and have done so in the past.
  16. GunnerBill Great topic! NFL Philip Rivers, Big Ben and TB12 suffer season ending injuries and their respective teams miss playoffs AZ Cardinals win NFC West There is a 21 day hiatus mid-season due to COVID 19 Bills Bills sweep AFC West Bills beat Pats 2x but split with Fins Singletary has more TD catches than TD runs
  17. And in other news, if Russia and the USA hadn't entered the fray against Germany in WW2, Germany might have won.
  18. This is the new normal. If I am in a crowded room I just mention the G-word and voila.... lots of personal space.
  19. Sounds like a beauty pageant contestant answer - maybe Jake got it from his mama..she looks like she may have been in a pageant or two!
  20. LOL my friend - some levity required here. "1st pitch - Chin Music. 2nd pitch - Down and away. 3rd pitch - tight on the hands. Then throw one he has to chase" That's what my pitching coach said when he walked out to the mound.
  21. AJ Klein, Josh Norman and Vernon Butler and Darryl Williams c'mon down
