The last 2 games they have had to desert whatever game plan they’ve had because of being so far behind early. Josh plays freer with a lead. His eyes seem to be saying this is not what I expected. I don’t know if this is on the coaches where they don’t prepare him for this eventuality or he can’t think on feet. His eyes give the impression of lack of confidence the first half lately. Does he lack confidence in his coaches/game plan, WRs, or his on analysis of the D. I think Tom Terrific knew where the ball was going before taking the snap. I think Josh is coached to go through progressions and making it happen on the fly. In addition, they have stunted his playmaking by making him worried about INTs and running the ball. Many have said let Josh be Josh. Overall, I think we’ll be okay. Every team in Jan is not the same team they were in Sept/Oct.

Yea, we win easy. Cook is WR for 5-7 plays and catches a TD. Coleman gets another. Josh runs one in. Kincaid gets one. No field goal attempts. We go for it 4 times on 4th. Espenesa gets a sack. 2 picks with Hamlin getting one. No way Josh loses. He’s had this game circled since July. If Lawrence can get 2 TDs, then Josh gets 4. Bills 35-20.

It can be argued that Josh has had better weapons than Tom Terrific and more skill himself. However, either our guy hasn’t figured out how to dissect Ds, or our coaches aren’t as good, or both. Another difference is that I don’t remember TB running for his life as much as our guy. The first 3 games looked like we had addressed that. The next game will tell us a lot.

Does Patriot Pl have an indoor water park. A Great Wolf Lodge would be year round. I would like to invest in that. Also, add a IMAX, TopGolf, ice rinks, electric go-carts, roller coaster, and Dave and Busters. Think mini Mall of America. I guess I’m the idea man.

I became convinced that we have a top 10 coach the 2nd half of last season. This love affair with BB is interesting or something. Could BB have gotten us as far last year with a patchwork team? Can McDermott get us to SB? I think he can but if he wins 10 or less this year and has stupid games, and uses Hamlin on 4th down, and runs a base nickel against the Ravens in the playoffs, and runs plays that get JA17 killed, I’d give BB a call. Yes I see your point but most NFL coaches would punt away on the premise that you don’t give good teams short fields (if the 4th down fails). I’m all for going for it from my EZBoy.

I think it’s the right call to punt against KC, Cincy and Ravens. Don’t give them a short field early on. If our D was legit maybe. The contenders in our division have better D. It’s our D that makes the O conservative against better teams.

Totally agree. I said in another thread that our coaches aren’t too troubled by this loss. Ravens showed all their cards. We have film now of their tendencies on our plays. It’s a chess match. We will be ready, but we need starters healthy.

My theory is that the coaches don’t feel too bad about this loss. They knew that they would be short handed on D. The Ravens got King Henry so they weren’t surprised by the runaway train. They know they’ll see them again so why show them everything. Save it for the playoffs. My guess is Ravens showed us everything because they needed this game. We’ll be ready next time, IF healthy. Our second line guys won’t stop King Henry under any circumstances. From a psych stand point, the team probably was getting the big head about the elite bs. Now they have their attention. Texans will copy the Ravens but it won’t work IF we get some starters back. Big IF.

The best blessing from the game was that JA17 didn’t get concussed or have his arm torn off. We need to score first and fast to hold off these bull rushes. When we play KC and Ravens in post season, we’ll have a better chance when we get our starters back, but we’ll still need to score first and fast. Go Bills !!
