Sunday Ticket lawsuit alleges price fixing by the NFL
DaggersEOD replied to stuvian's topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe because they claim that they are entertainment not a sport. Maybe a case of trying have your cake and eat it too. But I have no actual idea if that’s true 🤷♂️ -

Xavier Worthy injured during 1st practice as a Chief
DaggersEOD replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
But why even sell the house? Pay cash on a house at each location, if you move on, rent it and buy another. Pay a property manager, no worries. Renting a former player’s house should be easy. Nice little passive money generator when you leave the league. -
What if he did it for charity? Honestly curious...be a cool public way for public interest...hmmm but may sway the voting...I can see it still being illegal...

THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - Receivers are a Dime a Dozen
DaggersEOD replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ok so this has me thinking, for WRs to be the new RBs, there must be a significant drop in invested cap $$ and draft assets. So, where would those assets go? They would have to go to a logical spot that would make investments into RB and WR less important. That screams O-Line to me. If what you project is true, then the draft and cap $$ would start trending towards the O line. With the recent O-Line contracts lately I would call this plausible. -
I like how we get two “bad” schedule features out of the way early and in the least negatively impactful way for the Bills as you can expect. We get the Fish away game at night avoiding literal heat stroke, and we get the TNF short week both on the exact same footing as our opponent (same amount of rest), and at the beginning of the year when our guys are still fresh and able to absorb the loss of rest. I don’t hate this.

Stephen Ross Turned Down $10 BILLION For the Dolphins

Haters hate. They literally don’t know how to do anything else. Best to just sit back and watch them flail around impotently. 🍻 -
Always like a Davis in the Bills RB Room. Dude seemed to run really hard and with his life experience, he won’t take anything for granted. Looking forward to seeing him on Sundays

I want a guy who can fight through the “sticky” playoff coverage. We’ve tried the little nimble guys and precision route separators. Seem to disappear every year. That’s why I’m on Legette. I want to see us try something different.
-
Damn no kidding?? Didn’t see that yet. They want some of those Student Bailout bucks!

Do you think Allen feels relief after the Diggs trade?
DaggersEOD replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
I mean when you get THAT CLOSE to another man, you tend to bond 🍑🏈 -
I picked no, because I really like Legette who can be had staying put. Staying pat allows us to use a fraction of this ammo to move up to double dip and grab a 2nd great WR in this incredible class without investing 2 draft classes (essentially). That said, if they did this, I wouldn’t be mad.

Marvin Harrison Jr wants to be a Bill
DaggersEOD replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
After I wrote it I remembered he took a pay cut for us. It would be crappy for us to turn around and trade him -

Does Daboll see any value in Knox? I don’t think the Giants have a reliable TE (Waller hasn’t seemed to make an impact there). If he did, adding him to the trade could make it a more appealing trade, pick-cost wise. But that would help us too much lol -
Maybe this is the “put your money where your mouth is” year for Buffalo. In my day dreams, I see Allen’s contract also announcing a restructuring to save Cap, as they all realize, the ring is more important than the bling!! *blinks and wakes up* crap back to work

NFL & Gambling - not even all owners sure on policy
DaggersEOD replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall
Owners aren't necessarily the fonts of administrative knowledge. They have people for that. As long as the organization knows the rules, I'm sure all is fine. -
Awwwww but I already went and got my pitchfork 🙁

Wilkins getting grabby w/ Josh Allen yet again ???
DaggersEOD replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah no one wants to see that off-season crawler “Josh Allen files Sexual Assault charges against MIA DT” I’m sure that would explode the Talking Heads thread in no time. Very likely the reason he’s never been called on it. -
Wilkins getting grabby w/ Josh Allen yet again ???
DaggersEOD replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
I mean, that’s actually illegal in a law kind of way right? Outside of NFL jurisdiction. Couldn’t Allen legally file a police report? Not saying he ever would/should but just because it’s on a football field, doesn’t make it NOT sexual assault right?? Like, if during a scrum, a female line judge gets felt up and it keeps happening by the same guy over and over, it wouldn’t be tolerated…right? It’s just so odd because this guy has been doing it for years and at multiple levels of competition. A repeat offender. -
Josh Allen is kinda, sorta, in the Pro Football Hall of Fame
DaggersEOD replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Very awesome! Who had the record before him and what did they do with that guy's jersey? Do they send them back to the player? -
What happened to the OLine and the run game?
DaggersEOD replied to Dubie54's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed on the Chargers game. I had that pegged as a huge trap game. New coaches, players embarrassed the week prior, coast to coast travel. Seeing how our peers faired that weekend, I was VERY happy with the results. I just find, that in general, we’re geared to beat the small fast D (new gen type) and generally have a harder time with the ball control heavy (old gen type) Ds. Not saying we cannot be successful against the old school D (record proves it) but it seems to mess with our rhythm and timing.
