maybe the average fan.... I have plenty of knowledgeable friends that are fans of other winning franchises that have commented on how promising he looks.

I think we end up with a better record than the jets this year but i'm gonna give them the edge week 1. not a big edge, but a slight one..... if I had to put a number on it i'd say 45% confident in a bills win week 1.

Uh. Chances of anything increase with more exposure. It’s not a hard concept. And certain situation lend more to getting hurt than others so comparing a game to practice is dumb.

I get what it means dude... it means its 2 evenly matched teams with them giving the slight edge to home team. so their fans talking like its gonna be a romp is foolish.

hows this for a "next gen" outlook... the bills were just under .500 (5-6) in games that allen started. this involved a stout defense and a green rookie running around for his life like a chicken with his head cut off. one would think if the defense even just holds serve and the green qb even just progresses a bit that it would equate to more wins than losses. take the comp % and blow it out your a**, barnwell.

Good response, Shaw..... Apparently in order to not be lucky you have to win without forcing any timely turnovers or dealing with the elements. This stuff happens for every 10-12 win team in the nfl on a yearly basis. I’ll also add in I get so tired of the “lucked into the playoffs” talk. The bills did what they needed to over a full 16 game season and the ravens didn’t. End of story.... if the daulton pass would have been in the 1oclock games and the bills still kept a late play slot and just won to get in, it wouldn’t have near the same lucky feel to it.

wentz wasn't great when healthy last year. the cowboys finished the regular season 7-1 and won a playoff game. them going 10-6 and winning the division isn't really "out there" when it comes to predictions. I agree that the eagles could very well take it. but the cowboys are a really talented team on both sides.

Could pick the exact pass play that was going to be ran and he was the only qb that could STILL outrun the rush. You just needed enough field behind you to drop back and avoid the initial onslaught. I have a cleaned up functioning NES and that game and to this day if I have a couple of old buddies over we fire it up and there’s one buddy in particular that we won’t let use the Eagles because he was so good with Randall.
