  1. actually impressed by him. he could stand to beef up a little. i don't get where people come up with this. we have a 2 time national champ with successful nfl game experience including a playoff game that he had won. where do people get the idea that one of these qbs are going to come here and take that spot over the next 4 months. makes no sense...to me.
  2. read the last paragraph.
  3. the bills didn't trade cordy to move up. it was the compensation vs. a pick. also, they may end up having to trade spots with oakland just to get rudolph. i personally don't get the knocks on him. his body of work is second to no one except mayfield. i've said it before, i think he can have a peyton manning type of career.
  4. that happening with either of those guys would be a gift from above for the bills. i prefer mayfield. however, i wouldn't bet 10 cents on this happening.
  5. no you weren't wrong, especially where he was drafted...which was surprising, but what would you suggest they do? they are pretty much powerless until pick no.6
  6. did someone highjack you're username? you were bortles no.1 fan so i can't diss you so much, but why do you think we have to give up the farm? i think it's fool's gold. that being said , here's what i think.. 1. darnold 2. rosen...the giants ain't that stupid. eli's replacement for the next decade. 3. mayfield it will make me sick to see him go to the jets, but once he does, he's the enemy and should be taken out....either by our dline or nyc media. 4. chubb the browns can't resist...or would be stupid not to 5. allen elway won't pass up his chance to reincarnate himself....imo 6. barkley...indy fans have excuse to drink heavily. 7. bucs get to pick top safety, they don't want to move. so where does that leave us? i would say that at this point either the bills have to trade with oakland and grab rudolph before miami. az. or someone else swoops in, or they stay at 12 and fill out the roster, taking white, faulk, etc later. quite frankly, i am in the camp that believes in a.j. and frank reich junior nathan, enough to build the roster out and kick ass this year instead of waiting for a project to beat out a.j.
  7. good job ....there's that
  8. i hope miami gets skunked by az. i'd rather not have rosen in this division. that's just one more qb our d will have to take out of commission.
  9. i picked rudolph. i don't see any way at all elway passes on allen and possibly a future...elway. that being said, if all 4 are gone, we would be lucky to see rudolph at 12. i don't get the knocks on rudolph. if you're a pats or steelers fan and your team skips up and nabs him to succeed your aging all pro qb, would you be saying fire everyone? what makes bills fans so much smarter than those teams for showing a high level of interest in him? i'm not going to list all of his attributes, but other than mayfield, his body of work blows the other 3 out of the water by far. i'm a parcell's rules for picking a qb guy and i'm going to stick by it. history proves it to be true.
  10. the main point is...the giants at 2 and the broncos at 5 probably do not plan on having those high picks next year. how can they not go qb (s) of the future when one will be there for the taking?
  11. i think the giants would be stupid to not take darnold or more so rosen. if they bolster their line a bit, they could transition from eli after this season and i think the chances are very high with that. it would be a wise investment. rosen would be perfect for them. i don't see them moving at all.
  12. i have the feeling they will have to do this just to get ahead of the fins. i have a bad feeling about them sitting right in front of us. neither do i and i'd like to add that unless a.j. gets hurt, there will be zero reason to put a rookie on the field.
  13. i'd say rudolph at 12, but i think miami might snatch him up....so...do i get a partial ban? btw, rudolph could turn out the best of the class and have a peyton manning type of career
  14. 11-5 = wc. we get beat by the pats possibly due to tie breaker (common opponents). a.j. league mvp. there it is... btw...we host a playoff game
  15. lol they trade 12,56 and 65 to select the next bruce smith
  16. ...and i would like to point out that, if teams like the pats or pitt see rudolph as a replacement to their all pro qbs, does that mean they are reaching...or dumpster diving or just plain stupid. i didn't think so...take him at 12, keep the picks. if the heat gets turned up , trade with oakland and make sure you get him. a.j. can turn into a playoff qb....and i think it will be such. we can afford to let a qb sit until such time we have a major trade asset to have to deal with. wouldn't that be a change?
  17. i hear ya, but i don't think he'll even make it to 22. i truly think he is the peyton manning of this class. if we ..miss out on the top 4, i wouldn't be surprised if someone jumped our 12th pick for him.
  18. riley,riley,riley.....i'm an animal!!! wish i could copy and paste.
  19. i know, i flinched when he did that but then he had that...flick of the wrist thing i didn't know he had.
  20. i hope this happens....am hopeful, but if one makes it past 4 ,we have to deal with denver or someone else will.
  21. sorry i skipped all the posts...i'll read them later, but for me it's td to int.....period.
  22. where did denver or elway say they are not interested in a qb? i have heard 5 is for sale but i don't believe it. we are going to have to deal with 6 and beyond...which is ok..
  23. he would be perfect for them. he can handle the liberal big city media and he can start right away. if i were the jets and darnold was gone, it would be a no brainer.
  24. nope i think the jets take rosen if there and they would be fools not to.
