  1. If he's around 57% with 700+ rushing yards they'll win a lot of games the next couple of years. They have to change the offense completely though. No big lumbering possession receivers, he needs runners who can go all day, and a couple 6'6 TE and an athletic Center before anything else. You almost don't even need great tackles as much as you need athletes inside. Should be fun until teams get a blueprint on him... He's a big man. Country strong. I have no problem with his running or the DB and LBers trying to hit him. Unless it's a dirty knee shot they should bounce off him. He's 22. Let him run for his rookie contract.
  2. Cam turned into 70% this year and they are losing. Let the running QB run and 55-57% is better than if he hits 60% and doesn't run.
  3. It was kinda both but Clay should have caught it. He should have come out to the one and caught it like a punt.
  4. They signed a returner Denver cut because he fumbles. He has been good on offense though.
  5. You ignore it because he's a rookie. It's year one and he's seeing the field. I'll say it's a better season than I thought because he's a bigger runner than I thought he'd be.
  6. Worse than that. Clay played it like it was an end of the game play. He could have run out of the endzone and caught it.
  7. All of our TEs are converted from other positions. They need TE as much as they need OL.
  8. It's still too early to judge. Teams will scout him in the offseason and the challenge will be for him to overcome tendencies. 25 or 26 games before we know. Right now a better Bortles is probably about right.
  9. Won't have to. They can sign 2 or 3 players to big money contracts for the next 3 or 4 years. They don't have anyone worthy of big money on the roster so they're going to have money they must spend over the next 3 years.
  10. I don't like his fit. I'd rather get Devin White or some kid in the 3rd. Maybe Khalil Hodge in the 5th.
  11. Yeah I don't see it happening. It is a player they're missing though. He's like the prototype for that position opposite Tre. It's more likely he's traded for a QB. Carr if Chucky don't want him would be a good trade for both teams.
  12. But in free agency the OL and WR group is awful. They might get a good C but G and T are going to be awful. Best positions for our needs look like C, TE.
  13. He'd probably have a great career in this defense. Great. Like Revis great. He would be great on the boundary because he's a big kid with that safety body and good ball skills but I don't see it. Yeah but if you could get Allen to be a franchise QB you don't have to pay him for 3/4 years. You could give a good player whoever it is a 3-4 year contract for QB money. Kinda like they did with Mario Williams.
  14. Their "system" is a language and the combination of existing offenses. Also this assumes Reid runs a pure WCO. He doesn't. He never has. In fact this year he's actually running mostly a college spread offense.
  15. There are only two, Coryell and Walsh. Erhardt-Perkins is not a system it's a play calling language. Erhardt & Perkins took the other two and combined them into one system with new/simplified language.
  16. I was thinking more of Greg Roman. Didn't even factor Lynn. Holmgren runs the same offense we're running now. Same as Phily and Indy and NE and KC and Chi... It's a modified WCO.
  17. Erhardt-Perkins is a modified WCO with deep ball concepts taken from the Coryell philosophy. If you research the Erhardt-Perkins system you'll find that the two systems came together with one coach from each system working together, I believe with the Parcell's Giants. And yes they made a bad hire last year and tried to make their running, deep ball QB, a pure WCO QB and if failed at which point they changed and allowed for deep balls and QB running, but the OC was not schooled in either.
