I think it will start on time. I think you will also see Covid cases continue to rise into the fall. This will have varying impacts to travel, different state restrictions, team players getting it, etc. Somewhere along the way a few games get cancelled / moved. I guess maybe by week 3-5. Just a hunch because no one knows at this time. I figure college will be a mess and they will start cancelling first. They will have more cases on the teams IMO.

Funny but I watched the “catch” game the other day and saw some awfully poor throws by some mobile guy that really sucked.....I think his name was Montana. It could because it was before he had Rice and Taylor and didn’t have anyone but Clarke to throw to so maybe surrounding him with talent eventually helped him. Sound familiar? Look at his stat line, 3 picks and a god awful bomb that was 7 yards too short...think twice before judging every throw some kid makes.

Allen should be somewhere between the top 3-8 QBs in the league. I think Mahomes will continue to be dominant but Allen has so much potential and continues to improve. I see some commenters saying he will peak this year but that is short sighted. This kid played at a minor Div 1 program so he is behind some QBs who played at bigger conferences. I think he will still show palpable growth over the next 2-3 years. This year I think he has the potential to make a Pro Bowl. Outside of Mahomes & Jackson he is the 3rd best QB in the AFC IMO because Watson holds the ball too long and lost his WR1.

Either way the Pegula’s can’t kick the can down the road on new stadiums forever. They probably extend the lease for a few years but the league is very demanding on new stadiums and will put pressure to build. Didn’t Jerry Jones build that great stadium for 1.5 billion? There’s is no way we need to spend over 1 billion. We aren’t building the perfect stadium. We won’t be hosting Super Bowls ever. I would guess the wild LA stadium overruns are also due to steel coming from overseas getting jacked up due to the trade wars and all the corona virus impacts to labor costs, delays, time crunches because of the work stoppage, having to restack contractor bids and timelines because the work of one contractor is dependent on others work being completed, etc.

I don’t think anyone thinks it’s abnormal for a 23 year old kid to go out, ride his ATV , drink a few, and make a bad choice. I think the disgust is that we have a huge opportunity this year. We haven’t won a division in 20 years and we just put an unnecessary roadblock up. We are playing for home field playoff games now. It matters when someone takes themselves out of games doing something stupid.

Even if you left your license at home you don’t get a do over to go prove it later. Say he only had a concealed carry which would mean he would need to have his FOID card on him at the time. That could be a low charge but it’s going to stick.

I really liked your lineup but 1) there is no way they keep Bates over the Carolina kid at the cheapo price they got him at 2) I somehow think they find a way to have Joseph on that final 53. He supposedly is bulked up now and he is a lethal hitter. So not sure if they slot him in place of Marlowe or as an extra LB.

No. 99 Passrush was better but the 20 secondary is better. Overall the 20 defense is better because it is deeper at most positions. The 20 offense is definitely better on paper but needs to prove it.

I think this is the ideal. However if the off-season is shortened in any way, I bet one of those new WRs ends up on the practice squad with Jackson just due to reps. Easley and RayRay are most definitely gone.

This is right on. They are gong to be full on 2 TE power run run pass ball control offense. They will look like the Bills used to look. It’s going to be great !! The only difference is they used to know Gronk could win anywhere on the field. Those rookies aren’t Gronk.

They didn’t play and they lost. They also got 2 lucky random turnovers including a weird pick 6. We could have put 21 on them in the first half alone if that was Josh with his later season experience. Speculation is great.

Pre schedule I would have said 10-6 to 11-5 but the way it lays out I can’t see us worse than 11-5 with a true shot at 12-4. I prefer the tough games stacked at the end.
