Handles it poorly by leaking name to Chris Brown and underlings. They spread it around. So they dump the whole marketing group and suspend Chris Brown. Scenario 3: Bills office is going to be like Sabres’ operations now and they ask 3 experienced people to walk with a package be replaced with 2 young people to cut costs and figure why not now since there are no sales and limited Marketing budget to be had. Or any combination of 1,2,3 Other speculative marketing musings out there, since the Bills refuse to provide us any football content?

That to me means someone leaked a confident discussion which would logically be the naming rights discussions since no one is bidding for new marketing partnerships these days..so you fire the person who leaked the actual confidential contract info and you suspend the person she told who leaked it second hand. As Jerry Hughes eloquently said In today’s Presser “to all those that are vocal about us taking a knee during the anthem, I wish they would hold that national anthem and that flag to the core values that it is supposed to be representing.” To me I think black men are saying I am kneeling before the anthem asking for people to notice me and do something about why I am not treated the same. Lets assume everyone going to the game is drinking or at least pretty rowdy. I know that I go to the game pretty intense and loud but also to drink before hand. So let’s assume behaviors of people going to the game are more similar to those behaviors of people in bars. Currently most major COVID outbreaks are coming from college campuses bars. Alabama, Notre Dame, Ohio State all opened to immediate COVID outbreaks due to bars and had to shut down the local bars. I think the smarter NFL owners fear the lack of ability to control the behavior of people outside and then inside the stadium when they have been drinking. Once those 12,000 people decide to get inside the stadium, say they decide to all gather on one side of the stadium and say “F the distancing.” Are 200 rental employees going to stop them ? No, they will get out of the way and watch and you will be on the nightly news minutes later. The Bills owners want to make sure they have seen all the variations on things that can go wrong before they just open the gates and hope for the best. I don’t blame them. I bet they are using the state as a crutch because it helps direct anger away from them. The Pegulas are smart. They know we have the potential for a long playoff filled season so why not get it done right. We will have fans later and if we don’t, it’s likely because the virus is back with a vengeance and then there won’t be a full season and likely no one will have fans and all sorts of strange alternatives could shake out after a delay.

Two things that also make me wonder.... 1) where there are false positives in testing, they are also false negatives 2) assuming test results will be pulled the day before a game, how long before the Patriots have a “Test Gate” where a rival suddenly has a bunch of false positive showing up when it benefits the Pats... If any position was to have an injury at least it was one where we had basically 2 relatively equal starters already in place. We don’t lose much. The reports were uneven about Norman. Even if he was on target to start week 1, he wasn’t dominating or anything.
