Yes Agree it’s beyond his skill, his heart is important it this team. I only see Logan Ryan having that component if they replace him. Just like Feliciano’s heart was important on offense. I honestly know is a guy a scared for his family and I believe he is truly is waiting for god to give him a sign. If he had already made up his mind 1)he likely wouldn’t have been in the building the last few days 2)they certainly wouldn’t have put him on the podium knowing it would raise the price tags out there on replacements they might be negotiating with already who didn’t need to know the Tre info. 3) if the team already knew he needed help for his family, the Bills org would be setting him up with help for his family and Pegula would be using private jets to fly family around and do whatever it takes to make his needs met. He is their most prized player after Josh.

I think we still win the division because I believe NE is sub 500 this year, but we could be a 9-7 or 8-8 playoff team without Tre. That isn’t get us home games and good seeding which we need if we plan to move up in the tleague and start owning that we are in our “window” now. I do think they must chase Logan Ryan if Tre is Out.

I disagree. Unless we are scoring in the leagues top 5-7, which we have not proven we can be yet, you require a shut down corner to win championships (not divisions .) We will improve on offense no doubt , but without Tre you lose a superstar and a lot of margin for error. You now can’t shut down the other teams best WR because he may be the best CB in the league. I feel losing Tre is second to losing Josh in terms of Team W-L impact. Let’s just hope tomorrow goes by and he stays and this is not something to worry about.

You are assuming he is the only one who gets to decide. He is married. In marriages it’s both people who should weigh in on the decision. You are also in the military. They tell you were to go and your family has to go there. Does your CO call your wife and ask her if she minds where you are deployed? I don’t think so. So it’s not apples to apples. its not the same thing.

Watching that presser today gave me that gut feeling in his heart he was not playing this year. I don’t believe for a second it has anything to do with his contract. He is all about family and I respect that. The impact on the season would be devastating to the Bills. With him we are contenders for the whole thing. Without him we will contend for the division, but we can’t hang with the Chiefs or Ravens. He is worth at least 2-3 games on our record IMO.

Did anyone find it odd that he said he was asking Klein about calls? Klein hasn’t been with the Panthers for a few years and Tremaine has been calling the games for us for the last few. It concerned me that maybe he really doesn’t grasp enough of the concepts yet. So my main answer to OpEd is for him to reach his awesome potential he needs to be playing at full speed and be calling the right variations on the calls. That means he needs to be on top of all the reads and show he doesn’t need someone to help him out. This is not me questioning his intelligence. It’s me questioning if he has had 100% command of this defense yet and if not, when will that be the case. For us to win a championship, he needs to be a master of the calls out there..

Why can’t they just drop a $100 monitor of a live fan on every other seat ? They’ll have to figure out how to power them all, but it would be fun anyway......

I give credit here for constantly tinkering with the Roster so every day our depth is a little bit stronger and our cap is a little bit better. Basically every day he is improving the team. i like that constant focus. He is a primary reason that if Josh can be a top 10 QB we have a real shot at winning a SB.

Well the Bills photographer seems to have a problem with Josh Norman as a roster member.. check out his photo on the Bills Roster site under the roster section, it’s pretty funny. It’s about 1/3 of his head...... In all seriousness, no we do not have a problem. We have better cb2 talent now than in any of our 4 SB years. What we need on defense are more forced turnovers which seemed to drop off last year. That is part pass rush and part forcing more fumbles.

CAMP SCHEDULE....... - since I was wondering and this was in the athletic..... Instead, Bills players will spend the next eight days doing strength and conditioning workouts. The team can do 60 minutes of weight-room work and 60 minutes of on-field conditioning per day, but it cannot conduct conditioning tests. Teams can also do 60-minute walk-throughs for the first four days and 75-minute walk-throughs on the last four days of the conditioning period. The “ramp-up period” will run from Aug. 12-16. That’s when teams can start with a 90-minute, non-padded practice and increase the duration of those practices by 15 minutes per day. On Aug. 14 and 16, players can have helmets and shells on, but no live contact is permitted. From Aug. 17-Sept. 6, teams can have 14 padded practices. That schedule, which includes no preseason games, presents a challenge for coaches.

Ok just curious where you determined your info saying there is “zero evidence about healthy young 300lb guys being susceptible? I trust that guys that are wealthy and have millions at risk have access to some really great medical opinions regarding risk to their health that are better than the anecdotal stuff you find on the internet. I also know that the NFL mega corporation would want to discourage the players from opting out in general because less players hurt the game’s quality. So these opinions are coming from private doctors who aren’t influenced by the NFL steering these guys toward a decision. So these doctors are telling them there is a risk. Just because some kid is young and in shape doesn’t mean a disease can’t get them really sick and jeopardize their future. They also have to consider they may pass that disease to their spouse or children who may not be as healthy as they are. These players are people. They are not indestructible video game avatars.

These are all reasonable points. I also think he is right when he says college football has no right to have these kids playing when they aren’t being compensated and without a union to protect them. He is spot on there. I know it’s fun to watch on TV but they are still kids and they are being abused for profit. They get all the risk and none of the reward. It’s not just the short term Covid for those kids it’s also the long term heart damage and various other organ issues that these kids will have later in life. I 100% doubt we get a full season in too. I would like to see a poll on what the TBD community thinks the season length will be. I think expecting a 16 game season with the cases skyrocketing is a pipe dream but one can hope. I figure even getting in 12-14 games would be an achievement for the NFL.

I am surprised no one asked when we might see a first day of players in any form of pads. Has any one heard ? Since this is not your typical CAMP have they even released a press briefing schedule for the next few weeks? I am interested in when we will see some actual football content. It’s weird because without having the public practices we have no content to discuss other than what they are willing to let the media see. I hope they have a few basic blue white scrimmages that are also aired.

After we clinched an AFC east title game against Marino and the Phins (not sure which year but Reich was playing and Kelly was hurt), someone blocked the exit for the team buses. So the Phins and the equipment buses had to zig through the public lots to get out. Everyone decorated the player buses with Bills flags, beads , paint, etc on the way out. I remember it vividly because it took a looong time for them to get through. Sorry but driving the debt from 19 billion to 25 billion in 3 years will not drive jobs and was never a “conservative” taking point either. Every Trumper argument ends in making a joke because you have no agenda. The problem is Trumpers only think they are conservative because that is what Trump and Faux news tells them they are. True conservatives know Trump was never a conservative. The red hats and flag hugs won’t bring your jobs back. Neither will running up huge deficits. Neither will these smoke and mirrors trade deals that Trump touts.

I came to my teams football site to read about football, which I will go back to. I already know my intellectual and economic superiority to the Breitbart knuckledraggers who read Trump tweets like they are wisdom. I used to vote for the GOP when it actually stood for something, but I have enough common sense and moral character to understand that the reality TV host carnival barker in the white house is running this ship into an iceberg. His decisions will take decades to fix.

I know it’s so horrible that people in Europe start out with 5 weeks paid vacation...... I am so glad I had to work 30 years to earn what they get on day 1. We need I get over ourselves.
