Sorry but I fully expect a positive test between now and Monday. I assume the plan will be to then play week 18 which leaves us back to having spent the whole week prepping and still getting shafted at season end. The NFL had the opportunity to build in extra season buffer week(s) on day 1 knowing this was a Covid year and they chose not to. Shame on them for being so ignorant. Goodell is a stooge.

I was just curious when the last time any NFL team lost a game via forfeit? It was the Rochester Jeffersons in 1921 who forfeited to the Washington Senators because they spent too much time arguing about crappy field conditions and refused to play...

Say it’s 7.5 mil without roster and performance bonuses... they could at least make the Titans pay half and the league pay the other half. After all the TV deal is all about revenue sharing and it was the NFL that has come up will a season devoid of extra weeks to fit these games ! We all could have assumed it was fairly likely there would be covid issues. The season just started, there will be more.

I think Sully is seat of the pants and is inconsistent in what he thinks. I lived in 2 major markets and by comparison he is a mediocre writer due to that constant inability to hold a view or admit when he was way off. Its all what you have been exposed to. It’s not his current viewpoint, which I am fine with. If I wanted to complain about terrible writing and being hard on the Bills unnecessarily, I would have mentioned Bucky....

None of those stats matter. What I care abiut is that they need to continue with that Vegas game effort of forcing turnovers and fourth down stops. That’s what wins in the big games. Yards allowed means squat.

That’s easy....zero Bruce Smith equivalent... teams always had to fear our edges. Bruce on one side, Bennett on the other.. This team has anemic edges in comparison. Unless Hughes is saving it for the playoffs we need something to change.

Why not just have a box saying I can’t evaluate QB talent like most GMs in the NFL.....

I keep my same stance, I don’t want to play the covid Titans this week. Let them play the game week 18. I don’t want to jeopardize our healthy team with team covid. The league needs to build a buffer week now based on the slow but sure increase in covid cases.

Let’s be clear. Josh has made more amazing throws in the last year and 4 weeks than I remember from the entire catalog of Bledsoe and Fitz combined. He has also had more jaw dropping runs than Tyrod or Flutie ever had. He also routinely converts 3rd and 10+ which none of those guys did regularly. It’s not close between Fitz, Drew and Josh IMO. Drew had major talent but not the level of intangibles or leadership and not the ability to make these throws while moving. Fitz never had abilities, after a decade, that Josh already has.

Last year’s Giants game...he made a couple of thread the needle throws right on the money while moving and it was evident to me he was seeing the field better game by game. After the Pats debacle he just showed it every few weeks thereafter. The way he is recognizing this year and throwing people in stride now makes me excited for what he may be like come playoff time.

Poor Jerry Rice and John Taylor. Or Lynn Swann and John Stallworth Or the 2019 KC Chiefs or St Louis Rams fastest show on Turf or the 1990 Buffalo Bills.... they never could have fathomed the 2020 Buffalo Bills....

So my question is can any of these guys play Sunday? If they all tested positive shouldn’t they have to be 14 days before cleared? So I am guessing they are all out this week. If not why the hell would our org want to play them!

Zay would still suck.. he takes poor angles to long throws and he wouldn’t have made our roster....

So it sounds like this might be a Monday night game if it goes on at all. I personally don’t want us to play the game this week because COVID has a 2 week incubation period. So negative now could be positive tomorrow. The worst thing that could happen to trash a great season would be to let the covid Titans leave our team with 10 covid players and force us to be the next team with a bunch of cases and interrupt our whole seasons dynamic.. I don’t care if the Titans didn’t play this week..that’s the leagues problem.

We need Hughes to be beast Hughes that he was in The Houston playoff game last year. When we don’t have that high outside pressure we won’t fare as well in the playoffs.

There needs to be a no more than 2 game movement rule for each team. The Titans should get to hold the rest of the league hostage. They start forfeiting games after 2 postponements. The Bills should want a postponement. Why do they want our team exposed to those buffoons and jeopardize our season ?

The one thing it does tell me is they love Williams at RT. If they are swapping Cody at both guard spots that means they want to confirm he can play at either well. That allows them to tinker with Feliciano when he gets back. I think they are giving Winters a look but he will be the cut when Feliciano comes back. He got eaten alive in the 2nd half. He was pretty much laughed out of the worst team in football and Feliciano is a great backup center so he is a lock for this roster of healthy. I doubt they walk from Spain because this if this is a deep run year you need 3 quality guards. We have 3 quality tackles.

Sorry benchmarks aside, do you think our defense is providing enough game changing plays ?? You can pick whatever you want to measure that. My point is if you want to win the division and a few games in the playoffs we need the defense to make more plays... The Rams had us in a lot of long yardage situations in that 2nd half but we hardly ever had them behind the chains. So you think our 50 million in dlineman are producing and the about to be paid 25 million in LBs are producing at that compensation level ? I don’t. I am not seeking to put a damper on this exciting season. I want to win the super bowl. Just winning a division means little to me. So I just think we need to wonder why our defense is having trouble making plays ....

So we were minus 1 in turnovers by getting 1. 1 turnover a game is not enough for an “elite” defense where we have a defensive mastermind head coach and have significant money poured into that side of the ball. We should be targeting 3 turnovers per game and 4 sacks. The Rams got 1 more turnover than us and double the sacks.

Imagine if Josh Allen has John Brown today... very impressed with our offense and the composure they show every week. Rant 1: our big issue this year is truly our defense continues not to get sacks or turnovers. Our defensive gurus need to find ways to help us win that plus minus battle every game. I am fine with us playing bend but don’t break defense like we did in the 90s and win with offense, but it needs to be peppered with enough big plays on defense to give us a shot in the big games and playoffs. So far our defensive front isn’t getting home enough and we have an awfully high payroll there for that not to happen. Jerry Hughes is downright invisible. Every QB should be afraid of what lurks behind their backside. Not against us. Time to put Addison in Jerry’s spot and see what happens. Jerry is becoming the new 42.... He’s getting snaps because he is a team leader and not based on performance.. Rant 2: Why the Hell is Winters playing any significant snaps ? I am hoping they are just trying Cody at left guard so Feliciano can come back into Right Guard if they are thinking Spain’s film is poor, because Winters is not good enough to be an every game starter. He was the Jets leading penalty getter and they laugh when we mention his name ! They think he is terrible and that’s coming from the worst team in the league.
