Drafts are a little more complex than that. Some of these players that succeed or fail....could be because of the team that drafted them. Would gronk be the same gronk on another roster? what if the team in question has a scheme that only uses their TEs to block? I mean...nobody is going to draft a guy with a 6th round grade in the 1st round because they believe he is transcendent.

They all should have bought him something to be honest. The only dude he should buy something nice for is Robert Foster.

And thats the problem with stats. They never tell the whole story.

Most of it is being lazy. Stats work well only if you watch every throw and diagnose every play. Completion % is a waste of everyone's time. Adjusted completion % we can take a look at because that means someone watched every throw and was able to come up with more accurate result.

You really cant put a % on whats good or not good for a QB. Its the effectiveness/importance of the throws that matter.

I will take his 50% completion percentages every single day of the week. People are starting to realize not to look at a stat sheet when it comes to Josh. This should have been the case weeks ago.

I thought this was common knowledge....some of these posters really dont get it.

If we had last years Oline...wed be in the mix for sure.

They got a pretty crappy Oline...but ill tell you we got a pretty crappy oline too. On par with the Cardinals. If Rosen played on this team hed be a corpse.

We will prolly win by 30 if they need to win and in.

I think im always going to blame the offense. If they cant establish a run game, i cant just see them being able to control a game and win. I think thats what stopped us from winning the last two weeks.

Im not really concerned for Allen tbh. If you told me a QB threw for 50% completion every game id be worried.....but not with Allen. What he completes with his 50% is pretty big. Like we had a play 1st and 20 early in the game. Throws a dart. 2nd and 2. Like....thats the kind of movement he brings.

I think this is the biggest thing that would help him grow. Allen is a big time gamer. He has no problem taking every snap throwing the ball 60 times and rushing it 30 times. But you can see what happens when you put the entire offense in his hands. You get the 50/50. 50% great, 50% not so great. Fix that line, get the ball moving on the ground next year.
