Slot is the position Hollins made every one of his plays from this past season. Coleman plays both depending on formation. I think he can easily lead the team in many categories in year 2. Hollins is a very good teammate but he isn't a must sign. For the right money yes. As a role player absolutely.

Hollins played more inside than outside. Brady coming from New Orleans and Sean Payton has those plays in his bag. I think you likely let Hollins walk and give that role to Coleman who is a willing blocker and offers more after the catch. In the middle of the year when Coleman was moved around he was much more productive. The decision with Cooper could make wr a more pressing need. Kincaid even without the last play was disappointing. Not being able to run the ball with Kincaid and Knox hurts both of them. Less play action with both of them on the field. Buffalo is multiple enough where having a power slot doesn't limit your Te position.

I think Hollins is what he is. For the right money sure but I wouldn’t plan on Hollins replicating his career year. Coleman has the size and better after the catch. I think he would be different player in that role. Unlocks more potential.

I think he can take over and enhance the role Hollins had. Coleman in Bradys scheme could be Marquis Colston or Michael Thomas as a power slot. As a rookie he started slow got going then got hurt. The middle he showed flashes of being an impact player. He is an X in pro sets. In spread looks I think he works best as a slot. I would draft another pass catcher early or sign one if Cooper doesn't return.

I have Coleman step into Hollins role. Coleman as a power slot is his ideal position. Buffalo needs to add some outside speed and the offense is pretty set. Defense needs Dline and secondary help. I expect those to be the 2 of the 3 early picks. Beane has some cap and draft capital to reshape the roster even more.

I think this was McDermott's best coaching job since 17. In the end the flaws of the roster held them back. Defense has holes. The offense lacks explosiveness outside. The Bills are right there. A few tweaks and they get over the hump.

So its either 1. Stroud isn’t capable and the oline coach and OC are scape goated. or 2. The oc and oline coach are fired for having a basic passing scheme and protection. Number 2 is also the weakness of the Shannahan offense in general. Shannahan and Mcvay have some wrinkles and were on better passing staffs under Gruden and Kobicak with west coast concepts. Slowik wouldn't come with that knowledge.

It is in the video I posted above. Simms has been critical of Slowik from the jump and laughed off his head coaching interviews because of this last off season. Houston is one of a handfull of teams where the center and oline coach handle protection during the week and in games. Here is the video

He didn't work with Stroud to change and adjust protections and hot reads. The center and oline coach made all the protection calls. They were very average and pedestrian calls. You have your qb make those calls so he knows where the rush is coming from so he can manipulate the pocket and play call accordingly. You have more control of the Houston offense in Madden than Stroud had in real life. This is why Slowik is gone. Stroud is the franchise. Give him tools to beat a defense and empower him with the ownership of it.

No. He is out due to generic passing schemes and kindergarten level protections. Both him and the Oline coach not equipping Stroud to handle NFL defense at the line of scrimmage is criminal. Stroud should press charges 😂😂.

Rapp is very solid. If he wasn't Bishop would already be on the field. As the season went on Bishop played better. I like his athleticism on the field. Buffalo got abused last year in the playoff because the linebackers and safeties were slow. Benard, Milano, Williams is a massive upgrade at Backer. Bishop in the box can run with every back and Te KC has including Kelce. Rapp is solid but I cant sit here and say his absence changes the outcome.

Play the style the game your in requires. This is what makes Buffalo a scary offense. They can go heavy and run the ball down your throat. You wanna play big and take away the run they will spread you out and throw the ball all over the yard. If your corners are shaky? They will throw to the wrs. Your safeties are shaky? They will throw to Te. Your linebakers struggle in space? They will throw to the Rbs. The defense wins and covers everybody? Allen will run it. I expect KC will go for door number 1. Stop the run. Early down, early in the game PA could be very deadly.
