The 14? You must be the ball setter for Patriots games. Dude, it's a fifth round pick. Find me a QB, or any player really, from the late rounds that doesn't have some sort of red flag. They're all project fliers at that point.

I don't think it's that impressive when you have knowledge of who they have met with, what their needs are, their projected round selection, etc. Some people are going to get lucky on their educated guesses. Show me the guys who knew AJ would fall to us in the second and whatnot rather than the ones who looked at draft boards and followed the trends just a bit differently than others.

Ya I'm absolutely not advocating for dating minors, just critiquing arbitrary laws. The majority of teens incorrectly consider themselves more mature than the average teenager (same kind of mentality of drivers' opinions on their own driving skills), and people prey on that.

One weird thing about those laws is that a relationship can be legal for a whole year, until the older one turns 24 and bam suddenly it becomes illegal for a day until the younger one turns 18 then it's legal again. If they're going to have these laws it would make mathematical sense to have it be a sliding scale based on relative age difference counting their ages in total days, not your arbitrary age in calendar years where the "age" difference changes from one day to the next because of when birthdays fall. Kind of like the supposedly acceptable dating age difference of taking half the age of the older one and adding 7, so the supposedly acceptable partner for a 24 year old is 19+ years old, except you calculate it in days.

Except Bill apparently tried to trade Brady a couple of times, so his ego was always there. Old Robert was the one who blocked the trades.

I can't help but wonder if they were giving the Pats time to get through the draft where they were supposed to pick up their QB of the future, which they screwed up by not taking a QB. Now they're in a pinch if Stidham sucks this year and everyone will be leaning on the NFL to finally dock the Pats draft picks to get their QB in next year's draft.

I don't know a lot about scouting prospects, but I've heard too many claims about him potentially being the "steal of the draft" to accept the terrible grade the OP gave the pick. Also bad grades for players who had great college production and great observable skills, I don't get it.

If you give a damn what PFF thinks they actually had Epenesa and Moss ranked even higher. I think 21st overall and 2nd at position for Epenesa and don't remember overall for Moss but 2nd at position.

Not me personally, but I saw people somehow bragging about "correctly predicting" Bills picks.....but the predictions were only made when we were on the clock, and the picks were the consensus remaining BPA and a position of need. Like wow genius, how did you know we would take the 21st overall rated player and 2nd rated DE with a 1st round grade who fell to us in the 2nd round? Same goes for Moss and whatnot. They would actually quote their own "prediction" and hype themselves up lol ?
