I mean, they should let the team know they'll have a shot at the division if they pull out the win....
-
See, if we hadn't used our timeout there, we might have gotten the ball back for another shot...
-
Well, that no flag evened out the block in the back on NE's play earlier. Hold 'em here. We'll probably be better running a 2 minute offense, and we can do the old Pats thing of scoring right before the half and right after the half.

Hey, I don't care if we don't break 10 yards passing for the day, as long as the D keeps pouring it on like this....
-
I'm so happy Oliver is going to be a Bill for a long time.
-
Not too worried about the offense. It's the 1st quarter. It won't be like this all game - and 1 more TD probably puts this game away w/ the way the D is playing.
-
Everyone makes mistakes. No one should be judged forever by their worst moment. I have no issue w/ this one, personally.

Good football weather. Wind is much worse than precipitation.

Brown sugar & cinnamon, frosted. So, so good. Hot or cold.

I agree to an extent on their defense. It can be really good, and even top tier. My hope is that it's like the Jets, who also have a great D. We lost a close one the 1st time around, but played like we should the 2nd time & blew them out.

Random talking head says something about the Bills
Success replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
I mean, welcome to the NFL, Gronk. Whining like a baby that guys are pulling his jersey. They were up 3 scores and the game was winding down, and he had to go all roid rage because he felt a small pull on his jersey. -

He's a repugnant individual. -
We lose to bad teams when we turn the ball over, and commit too many penalties. Pretty easy formula to win this one.
-
Many of those fans are also Red Sox fans - who always mocked Yankees fans for just responding "27 titles" when NY was struggling over the past decade+. I love the irony.

If the Pats started Zappe all season, they'd have at least 2-3 more wins, imo. Jones might have more accuracy, but Zappe reminds me of someone like Heinicke. He's more competitive, and fights harder. He's also better at improvising and moving around the pocket.
-
Reading Patriots boards - they remind me so much of us during the drought. The endless QB discussions - should we draft a guy? Maybe Zappe should get a full season? What about trading for Cousins? Wilson might be cut - any interest? And then the whole coach debate. It's astounding how many fans there have turned on the guy who brought them 6 titles. And last, the gloomy sense of inevitability when playing the Bills. Most know they caught us at a good time in the 1st game, and expect to lose this one.

So much of his game is that lower body strength and being able to plow through guys. I'm looking forward to seeing him back. I don't think it's the same as an ACL/Miller situation.

Does the Bills Fan Base Need to Cut Miller Some Slack?
Success replied to Rich Stadium Original's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm more upset about the allegations than his play. Usually, a torn ACL takes time. We saw it w/ Tre. Players return, but they're not back to their normal selves for awhile - sometimes most of the season that they return in. And he's improved since he first came back. Not dramatically, but he's playing better as time goes on. But the allegations are rough. -
We're playing the Patriots as heavy favorites. We're playing for the division, and they'll likely finish in last place.. These are all things that were unheard of when Brady was there. Gotta appreciate these days.

Instant karma for ol' Nick yesterday. Posted after the Bills game that they peaked in 2020 and that he's the "only one" who is right about them. And now his Chiefs - who he thought would go undefeated - have the same record. And his beloved Mahomes has 1 less turnover than Allen, and 13 fewer TD's.
-
In the old days, when the Patriots had to win & they were playing the Bills - there was simply nothing the Bills could do. It was like a dentist's appointment. Just something we had to get through. Same deal next Sunday, but reversed. The Bills will win, and the Pats won't be able to do a thing about it.
-
Zappe, at home? We're not losing.
-
I have always liked Mahomes, which has gotten me a few frowns in Bills' crowds. But since the last game, my opinion of him has taken a nosedive. He's a whining punk. Allen has lost incredibly painful games to the Chiefs, and always showed up aat the end to give them props. Mahomes wilts at the first sign of adversity. He'll never be on Allen's level, imo. After he loses Kelce, it will become much more clear who the better QB is.

We can win the Super Bowl this year. Not that we WILL. But I think this is the first time I've felt like we're as good as anyone.
