I'd probably give 70%. They're more banged up than we are right now - if Waddle tries to come back next week, he won't be as effective (imo). A high ankle sprain is at least a few weeks for a WR. Losing Chubb really hurts them against our run. I generally give Allen a big edge over Tua - but JA does seem off. Not sure if it's the shoulder. The Bills fought hard to get this opportunity, and eeked out a few nailbiters. Even I thought that things looked very bleak after the Philly loss. Miami hasn't really had that kind of journey to get here. I see a little psychological edge there. But it's a division game, and it's away. It certainly won't shock me if we lose. Miami's a good team.

Have the Bills been blown out this season? Miami has, a few times. Including against us. I respect the Phins, but they're hurting right now. They just got embarrassed, lost their best LB (which I hate, btw), and likely won't have Waddle next week also. I don't know. I feel like we lose perspective sometimes. Not that next week is guaranteed or even close to it, but we're so focused on our own struggles that we don't really see how common they are amongst our competitors.
-
What about my post was too much? I said I liked our odds, and think we're the better team. Do you not like our odds - and do you think Miami is the better team? I get that I veer positive, but it didn't seem like something anyone should have much of an issue with.

Sorry that it bugs ya.

The 70 point game skewed how people look at Miami. They're a very average team. The Bills have had a middlin' season also - but at our best, we're a tier above them. With the injuries they have, there are no excuses on this one. We have to go in there, win the division & get the 2 seed. You can't hope for a better opportunity, or a more achievable one.

The Bills are a very good team that plays down to the level of their competition. The Dolphins just aren't very good. I like the odds.

That Murray one stands out - soft pass, right on the hands, would have been a 1st down at mid-field. They scored after that. Had we kept going that drive & gotten even a FG - it's a whole different game.

Week 18 chat of games needed for Bills to clinch

It's still a division rivalry, and I'd bet Jackson & the starters play the 1st half. That said - it would feel kind of appropriate if we had to beat Miami. They are really banged up right now. I think we come out on top & take the division, and become a pretty unexpected 2 seed. -
My biggest memories of Sherfield from this season will be of him kind of getting open over the middle for a 15-20 yard gain, but getting kind of interfered w/ and not being able to complete the play.
-
We would - I just don't have a ton of faith in that, and I really can't stand KC.
-
I'm almost pulling for Cincy now since it looks like we'll have to win our game....
-
Well, about that....
-
So, you go for the onside kick over a 4th and 5 for a TD.. I find that kind of odd.
-
Not really any other way to look at it - we have to beat the Dolphins. Where else would you rather be?
-
See? The mighty Mahomes misses guys too....
-
I feel alright about the Miami game, but hardly 100%. Wish we could get a bit of help, but maybe this has to be the way.
-
Seahawks didn't come to play today.
-
Good. They'll have to go QB if they stay there - and a team can waste 4-5 years missing on a QB. However, it's likely they beat the Jets, and pick more of a sure thing at another position.

Why is it so hard for fans to admit reality?

The Buffalo Bills have won 4 in a row. -
There are a lot of really scummy Pats fans. Online, most of the comments I saw after Allen's injury were "told ya so" kinds of sentiments, with hopes that it would affect him the remainder of the season. Obviously, a small sample - but it's consistent w/ what I see from that crew in general. After 6 titles - still bitter & petty.
-
Not sure if anyone has noticed - but wins are hard to come by this year. We've won 4 in a row, and just beat a tough division rival. They have a bad record, but the vast majority of their losses are 1 score or under. When JA had to play well today - he did. I'm celebrating, personally.

There is an old NFL saying: "The W is all that matters."
-
Well, all we have to do is hold a team w/ their backup QB and missing their top 3 receivers from scoring a 97-yard TD drive in the final minutes.
-
That drive started w/ not sneaking it on 3rd & 1. Sometimes the most simple solution is the right one.
-
Belichick will be playing the sneak here. And it would be smart to sneak. But it would be kind of cool to take a shot w/ some single coverage....
