Great drive to open the 2nd. Gotta cash in now. -

McKenzie had these games every so often. He's not a star on this team, but he comes through - and sometimes when we need it most. -

We beat the Chiefs already. A few weeks back. At KC. -

Seems like a lot of MCL speculation online about Von. While not ideal, that is certainly not nearly as bad as anything ACL-related. Just gotta hope. He misses time, but not the playoffs. -

That made it impossible for them against that Bucs defense. It really made the difference in that game. -

As bad as the season has been injury-wise - we still haven't lost anyone for the season except for Hyde (and even he might be back). Even if Von has to miss the rest of the regular, I'll take it. We need these guys healthy for the playoffs. -
Tre White is ACTIVE for today's game!

I'm truly thankful on this Thanksgiving Day. -
1 seeds don't often end up winning the SB. Very often they don't. I'm not so sure this Bills team loves being the favorite. Let's see how things roll now that we're not on top of the radar.

I'm not as down on McKenzie as some here. He has made some big plays for us. He is very quick, but not overpowering - there was literally nothing he could have done on that 2-point conversion yesterday. He accelerated to the outside and that should have been enough, but a block was missed on that one & he got stuffed. He wasn't going to overpower that defender, and that's not his role or skillset. I hope Crowder can come back by the end of the season. I haven't seen anything on that, but initial reports were that he wasn't done for the year.

I think a lot of us older fans feel some of that. But think of KC as our Pistons to Jordan's Bulls. Because they've ended our season a couple of times doesn't mean that it's inevitable every season moving forward. Finally getting past them in the playoffs may actually be the springboard for that elusive championship we all dream of. I don't know who we'll be playing in January, or where we'll be playing, but I'll go into those games with just as much confidence as I always have w/ this Bills team. Which is a lot. Because we DO have Josh Effing Allen.

Being a sports fan has a lot of "shake fists at sky helplessly" moments.

Not giving up hope yet. Lots of crazy things can happen w/ so much time left. I do think we're better than KC top to bottom, when both teams are healthy. Not by much, but without Hill, they're just more beatable. We win that game last year if Hill wasn't playing, most likely.
-
You really never know what will happen - the Chiefs DO have a lot of division games left, and even bad teams like the Broncos might be able to give them a loss. But, that's also relying on the Bills running the table. I thought this was the year we'd get the 1 seed, but chances just got a lot slimmer. It's not the end of the world. It's bad, but we can beat KC in KC. And have.
-
That was a big missed opportunity. Don't the Chargers understand how important this game is for homefield advantage for the Bills?
-
It's been rough. But as long as we can band-aid our way through the season, we're only really lost Hyde for the long haul. That's a big loss, but hopefully these other guys can get healthy (or healthier) for the home stretch, and into the playoffs. And it might even serve us well down the line, to build up experience w/ the back-ups.

I feel like this goes back to the Houston playoff game. The Bills seem to give up more 3rd and double-digit yards than any team I've seen. Note: this is not a scientific observation. There are probably stats for this, but I don't know where to find them. But man, does it seem like that's a bad down for us. I feel more confident when the other team has 3rd and 5 than 3rd and 14. What gives? Am I overreacting?

Pretty disgusted w/ the Jets & Vikes. Is there some sort of conspiracy to play like world-beaters against the Bills, but fold against the 2 teams I hate the most? And yeah, we allow some of that. But not all of it. It's like both teams forgot how to play the game of football today. Minny better show up on Thursday.

NFL Week # 11 - Browns at Bills (Detroit) - Post game thread
Success replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
We needed this win. It wasn't pretty, but they gutted it out and made the big plays when they needed to. Depth only goes so far. It's obvious we need our starters back in the secondary. I'll be happy to see Tre White out there again. Guys like Jackson are great 2 or 3 guys, but they're not 1's. -

The officiating really needs to start evening out. If you're going to throw flags & call it tight, it has to be for BOTH teams. -

Team needs to get its mojo back. Everything about them looks tentative right now. -

Feels like the season is back on. Gotta win these next 2 before starting the gauntlet w/ the division foes. -
In the years ahead, I think the Jets will be a bigger threat in terms of winning the division. Not this year. They're not there yet. They have a 1-game advantage over NE now, but the teams are very similar in terms of talent level, and Belichick is such a differentiator. I'm all in on the Jets tomorrow.

The people of Western NY are awesome. I've lived in a lot of different places at this point - some, it's much more "every man for himself." Up around Buffalo & Rochester, everyone pitches in, no one is left behind. It's pretty incredible.
